A friend of mine used these muslin swaddle blankets for everything from an actual swaddle to a nursing cover. Since I’m a practical person who likes to travel light, I tried this out and was able to switch from having to carry along three different things to just keeping this one around.It’s about double the thickness of the other muslin swaddles I’ve tried, so if you’re looking for something super light, this might not be the right fit for you. For me, however, it provides that extra sturdiness that I wanted.This one also has a little bit of a different feel on the edge of the swaddle that’s a little firmer, but not enough to cause discomfort.I really like the rust/brick red color. It makes it easy to find, but not so glaring that it stands out too much in social situations. It’s just an earthy pop of color.
