I read all the positive reviews and bought two of these for my toddlers. We were going to use them to hike in Jasper national park; due to the wildfires that was cancelled. So we used them to walk around our city. Which doesnât have hills trails etc.First toddler fit in the carrier. Sheâs 20lbs and only 75cm tall. Just a small little thing. My problem is that she didnât seem âsecureâ. I followed the instructions, had her strapped up properly.. but the fact that she sits very high up made me nervous. If I was in fact on the trails in Jasper, I would not trust her safety in this thing at all. The adult cannot bend, slightly lean forward or any movement without the baby swinging that way too. I have not tried to place in my other toddler who is 30lbs because I canât see her thighs fitting in the leg holes comfortably. Iâm not going to return them because Iâm going to continue to try them out, but this was my first initial thought. Plus! Just walking around my block with the 20lb baby on my back, hurt my back a lot once we were done. (And I go to the gym everyday) the chest strap is also oddly placed for a woman. BUT! The quality of this backpack is good. Does not seem like cheap material at all.

The backpack by itself is good but the way you have to squeeze your hands to secure the baby is not easy at all. Too high price for this poor product experience
We bought this for a hiking trip in California we had planned and we loved it. There’s so much storage space and our 16-month-old loved being able to see everything and he also took some great naps during our hike in there too. I would definitely recommend it! Much better price than some of the high-end ones and great storage. We fit SO much stuff in there.
This thing is awesome. We purchased it for a trip to Hawaii for our 2 year old to ride in while we did some hiking. She absolutely loved it. I am fluffy, and it fit around my waist with room to spare. It was very comfortable. I couldn’t even tell I had a child on my back, the weight distributes so well. I really wish I would’ve bought it sooner. We ended up using it alot more on our trip than expected due to the ease, comfort, and excitement of our 2 year old when we’d use it. The “storage” container is way more roomy than I expected. We were able to store some water bottles, change of clothes/diapers, and snacks with room to spare. Time to ditch the stroller.
First time hiker and wanted to bring my boy out but not front carry him the whole time.This bag is awesome!! My boy was 10 months first time on this and it felt secure, had a cover for him, face padding, place for baby supplies, the bag wasnât heavy, I didnât start feeling any weight til like 50 mins into my walk. Its pretty darn comfy! Iâd buy it again for sure.
My granddaughter is eight months old and sheâs already seen three waterfalls. So many things we could never do with a stroller. On flat ground she even rides with me on my bike. Pack is very stable. Once you get the straps right and use your lower back for support itâs easy. Weâve hiked 5 miles and never a single complaint from her.
