Well-made, good quality, doesn’t have to be for religious families
Loved this little wooden ark set. The pieces are well made and durable, and the colours are bright and crisp. The ark itself comes apart and you can put all the pieces inside, which is handy and fun for the kids too. All of the animals and pieces are quite detailed and sized nicely for little kids, and it is super easy to clean. I was a little worried it could be too Christian for all the kids to play with, but we use the included storybook like any other story and don’t connect it to the Bible or any particular religion. For a toy meant for small toddlers, it has good appeal in shapes and colours and they love it.

The big draw of the story for a toddler is that the animals came into the ark two by two, so you need at least two of every species. What a great premise for sorting if ever there was one. The entire toy is nice but the animals are what draw children to the story. Iâd rather pay more and get a lot more animals. To keep the price of the main toy at an appealing price point, a second version of this toy could be sold that included extra animals. A large, lightweight. nylon playmat could also be part of the expanded set. It could have land and ocean portions with the land portion showing trees and other parts of the environment where the animals would naturally frequent. In terms of the story, Noah and his family could then go to collect animals from where they live.Beyond the Noahâs Ark story is where even greater value lies. The additional animals and an environment for them presents opportunities for children to learn about the natural world. It expands the use of this toy beyond toddlers and a single story to include older children who can use it for a much wider variety of imaginative and social play opportunities.

The Noahâs ark wooden set is very cute and well made. The ark has cut out shapes along the sides which correspond with the pieces, as well as a string that you can thread the pieces through. This is a great feature to help a child with their dexterity and fine motor skills. The ark itself, has a removable top with a handle. I think the handle should either snap in and out or be permanent so the child could carry the ark.The ark is a good size, and all the pieces can be stored easily inside. The pieces are rounded with no rough edges, and made of good quality wood. The ark also came with a ramp; however, it needed to be a little longer so the angle would be in a better position for the people and animals to walk up it. The removable top was a great feature but the house could have been a little taller so the people would fit through a easier.As cute as the animals were, the whole premise the Noahâs ark story is that the animals came 2 x 2 so it would have been nice to have them in a pair. The illustrated book was a nice addition but the quality wasnât great but it served the purpose to help tell the story.Overall, our nephew had fun playing with it and incorporated his other toys with too. In his mind, it was not only Noahâs ark, but was part of a construction site, a farm, a trainyard, and his dinosaur world. The uses of the ark are up to the childâs imagination which can be endless.
Absolutely Love This
This is a beautiful toy for my youngest granddaughter. I think she will have a lot of fun with it for a long time. The wooden Noahâs Ark is well made, beautifully designed with much to do. There is a ramp to use for the animals to walk in on⦠there is a front door on a hinge that can open and close⦠there is a string so the animals can be pulled together⦠there is a rainbow ⦠there is a book/reader so playtime can go along with story timeâ¦I am thrilled with this game. I like that the pieces can also be stored inside the ark for a neat clean up and storage time.I recommend this a gift for your child or another. I love it!
Perfect baptism gift
This Noahâs ark wooden toy set has exceeded my expectations.The quality of the wooden items is great and all edges are smooth and rounded.The ark itself is two piece that easily come apart and go together.All the animals and characters are great quality with beautiful bright detail with the same rounded smooth surfaces.There is a paper storybook to go with it too which isnât the highest of quality but great illustrations and colourful with the story.This is a perfect baptism gift which is what I am using it for but it would also make a great gift for any child 5 or under to use with the story of Noahâs ark.
Cute wooden toy
I received a wooden Noahâs ark with wooden accessories. The ark has cut out shapes along the sides to coordinate with accessories. The ark has a removable top and all accessories can be stored in the arc. The rainbow handle does not fit will into the pre drilled holes and is more for decor than to carry . We are going to drill it and glue the rainbow on hopeful it will hold up to play , as it is not I would not use it for play with the set. There are a nice variety of wooden people and animals but I am disappointed that all animals are not in pairs, the whole premise of Noahâs are is the animals came 2×2 . The figures and animals are nicely made with no rough edges.The box says 2 and older but I would not have a 2 year old play with it unless you removed the small wooden circles and any other small pieces.

Great toy for young kids/toddlers learning to play while practicing some motor skills. This Noah’s Ark play set is very cute and colorful, with wooden ark, animals, and people included. The figures can be played with as traditional toys, matched to corresponding sized holes in the ark for learning matching skills, used with the included laces to string the pieces together, or however you choose to play!The pieces are all brightly painted, vividly colored without chipped or worn sections upon first use, and all fit through their corresponding holes for matching. This toy set is a really fun way for young kids to play, practice some skills, and learn more about the story of Noah!
Okay the prosâ¦.Fantastic quality. The wood is sturdy. I love the multiple ways you can play with this (shape sorting, free play, lacing activity, storytelling). My kids adore this set. Seriously, they play with it for HOURS. I love the colors and it looks great. The fact that you can open the door on the ark is fun, as is the rainbow ramp. I love that you can open the top and store the pieces inside – built in storage is always a huge plus. The circle pieces are too small for my comfort (not worried about my 3 and 5 year old, but I also have a baby). The other characters are great sizes. The ark is also a decent size too! Not awkwardly big, but also not too small.The consâ¦The book. Just toss it. The rainbow looks like a handle and I want it to be a handle. We often grab it thinking itâs a handle. It is not. It just sits there loosely. I wish it was securely attached so it COULD be used as a handle. Although I like the idea of a lacing activity, my kids get frustrated because the pieces just fall off the string (you would have to tie a stupidly ginormous knot at one end for them not to fall off). I am also bugged that the animals do not come in twos. Lots of reviewers mention the accuracy of the number of people, but honestly I would rather there just be a Noah & his wife if it meant the animals could come in pairs. Randomly the lions come in two though.
Super fun Noah’s Ark for your toddler. Comes with a book about the story of Noah’s Ark, it’s wood so great quality there and has a fun set of animals and Noah’s family pieces. The ark itself is a great size.I’m gifting this to a friend for her almost 2 year old. I know it will be a hit. Not too many pieces and great quality for the price.
This is really nice looking Noah’s ark! Me and the wife will often do something like this as a gift for others when they have their first child, and with 1 of our own on the way I decided to give this version a try.The wooden build quality is fantastic, and the colors are nice and vibrant. This is one of few Noah’s ark toy’s which comes with all 8 people! Fantastic! Especially if you are going through the Biblical account with a child. It could use a few more animals, but that’s ok, the reall ark was much bigger ya know. :)The book that comes with it is of poor quality, both material and content. This was the most disappointing part. It’s like someone took the pieces of the story of Noah’s ark and rewrote the story how they felt like it. Timelines are off, order of events are off. Biblically inaccurate statements are made, and more…. Do yourself a favor, pitch the book if you get this before giving it as a gift.
