You can not combine two sets to make one larger set as the top basket doesnât come with the built in brackets to attach/stack/secure another basket on. You can combine them but you will have an âextraâ valet
I have bought a lot of wire baskets to mount on walls. I prefer them to shelves for the last decade or so because they are so much easier to hang. I never use the enclosed screws, always hang them with Monkey Hooks or Gorilla hooks. Just pay attention to the weight you can put in them based on the hook you choose. That said I must have been asleep when I ordered these as I totally did not realize these had to be assembled. It’s not that it was hard, but I am not so sure about their overall sturdiness because they are not welded all around like most wire baskets. I am using them in a bathroom, so they won’t have a lot of weight on them—no gallon size shampoos or anything, but still all that keeps them together are little screws that basically keep the bars from pulling out of place. Hmmm. I don’t know that they won’t work will update review if they fail, but they are good looking and large so if you are using them for lighter things maybe they will be OK. I also won’t use them as a unit but hung separately, which in my opinion might be better anyway given their fold together design.
This storage system turned out to be even better than I hoped. I like the baskets that let fruits and veg have air circulating around them, and I can see what’s there.The wire grid turns out to be useful for hanging items using S Hooks, and since it is rather plain, hanging things like a small vintage bellows for our grill makes it look a little more interesting.I haven’t found any use for the small magnetic white boards but they have potential.Very pleased!
We got 2 for my daughters room to store toys & her doll clothes; it serves itâs purpose well and was a simple assembly.
These donât have a great deal of integrity. Gravity seems to be all that really holds them together once assembled. They do fulfill my need, I just hope they last
