J’adore cette barrière de protection. Elle est super pratique et résistante. Elle est esthétique et discrète. J’adore que cette barrière soit rétractable en tissus.

Nice barrier to keep small children or pets out of areas
Easy installation, it comes with templates for precise places of screws and brackets. Attractive mesh design gate that is easy to lock in place. Personally I would not use this on stairs or areas that might be dangerous on the other side because of the light weight mesh. The mess appears durable and has some give to it. But as a barrier to keeping my cat out of the kitchen when I’m cooking, it works great!

Its very easy to install. Keeps my crawler out form it is intended to be out.

Good quality retractable gate
I got this to keep my bulldog from going upstairs unsupervised. I think it’s a nice gate, but doesn’t quite work for what I need it to do. That said, this is a very nice gate, and I love the look/feel of it. While there are a couple of minor things I noticed, I didn’t think they were significant enough to deduct any stars.Pros:1) I can’t deny, it is well made. The fabric part of the gate is strong, It’s very similar to the pet screen on my patio door, only thicker. I’m confident this can withstand clawing with no damage.2) The pull, frame and mounting mechanisms are made of metal, so when they’re installed I have no concerns this won’t hold.3) I love that it retracts into itself. Baby gates are usually cumbersome to use, difficult to secure & a bit of an eyesore. This seems to have solved for all of those issues.4) When locked into place, the gate does not move. Per the instructions, I wouldn’t necessarily trust it at the top of a flight of stairs just to be safe, but you can lean on it with the pressure you’d expect from a child or a dog and it will hold.5) There are multiple adjustments you can use for mounting to adjust for different sized baseboards. Unfortunately, because I have an open spiral staircase, it didn’t work where I was hoping to put it. It would have left far too big of a gap for my dog to get under. But that’s not the gate’s fault.6) I find the operation of the gate to be silent when pulling & retracting. It’s easy to pull open, but with just enough tension that it’s not loose & floppy.Cons:1) The locking mechanism on the top is counter intuitive. Switch it to “red” and the gate retracts/pulls freely. Switch it to “green” and the gate locks & no longer retracts. Not a critical failure point, but if you’re a parent using this, it takes your head a minute to figure out if it’s actually locked.2) If you install this on the right hand side, it retracts nicely into itself. If you install it on the left hand side, the gate kind of wraps around the back of the mechanism. There is no way to adjust for that, because the locking mechanism is only on the top of one side. Again, not a critical failure point but something I observed.
