Awesome Thermos!
I bought this thermos based on the positive reviews ~ and it didnât disappoint. Iâve had it about a year now and itâs amazing. I fill it with boiling water first, then empty and put my soup in. It stays hot for about 9 hours.I havenât tried with dryer meals like pasta. But liquids are perfect.It has a super wide opening so I donât even use the cup. I just use my spoon and the thermos.Interior is stainless steel. Lid has a pop up vent so you can press that, and it releases the suction so you can easily get the lid off without it being vacuumed to the thermos from the heat.Definitely worth the money!
Easy to wash and use
Have been using this for several months now and itâs held up very nicely. Compact enough for my daughter to put in her lunch bag or backpack; wide mouth makes it easy to clean and easy to use (i.e., spoon/fork easily reaches into the canister to scoop out food). Lunches packed in the morning stay warm until lunchtime without issues (key is to follow recommendations and pour boiling water into the canister and to keep it there for a few minutes). Slight issue with the steam/pressure release button on top of the lid – it works but it takes forever to let out all the steam/pressure so we end up just unscrewing the lid which causes a small âpopâ of air to be released. Nothing major or dangerous, however.

Doesn’t keep food warm
We warm the thermos with boiling water first, then add the boiling hot soup or stew, and in a four hours it’s barely warm. That was at room temperature. We were hoping to use it this winter while working outside. Wait six hours and it’s cold.We are not impressed at all.

I’ve spent so much money on other thermos’ that don’t even keep my food even remotely close to slightly warm. This thermos is the first one I’ve had that actually works like how I had hoped, my food stays warm well into 8 hours of it being in the thermos. With all those extra layers, even during the summer my food doesn’t spoil or go bad at all in this thermos, despite it being left in a car for 5 hours. I work outside as a landscaper and generally used to buy lunch out when I worked so, I could eat something warm during these chilly autumn days, and those extremely cold all nighters shoveling snow. This thermos fits a reasonable portion and that keeps me well fed during a cold all nighter, with the only thing I want being a something warm to warm myself up. Thanks to all those extra layers and double caps it has I can even pour in hot soup and have it not cool down for hours or spill at all something all other thermos I’ve tried have failed to do. My great experiences with this thermos have led to me telling my co workers and family members, even those who don’t endure the harsh outside weather to work, to buy this thermos so they can enjoy a warm homemade meal even at work, or outside during the winter. Definitely recommend this thermos to anyone regardless of where you work or who your are this is one of the best thermos’ you’ll ever find.
This product is no good. I bought few years ago from the same company and used the thermos for 5 years. This product is impossible to open after putting food in. I am not sure what is the problem. It is just turning round and round. Very disappointed.
This is a well built great featured thermos. Keeps food hot for hours. The screw on bowl and inner seal cap are very high quality as well as the stainless container. Wide opening allows you to eat directly from the container. Great product for the price.
It’s got a wide mouth for easy filling, the top unscrews to become a bowl, and most importantly, it keeps hot chili hot all day. Also, it’s worth mentioning that some people have reported “exploding thermos syndrome” on other models due to pressure buildup. This unit solves that problem with a push-button pressure relief valve on the inner lid.I recommend priming it with hot water (doesn’t have to be boiling) and then heating up your food while the thermos sits absorbing the water’s heat. Once your food is at your desired temperature, empty the water from the thermos and pop the food in. This thermos holds more than you’d think at first and you’re not likely to want for portion size.Cleanup is simple – it’s not dishwasher-safe, but the wide opening makes it easy to fit a sponge or brush inside, and the stainless steel is easy to wash out.Honestly I wish I had known about, and purchased, this product years ago. It would have made meal-prep and bringing homemade lunches to work a breeze.
got this to prep a warm lunch in the mornings. I warmed it with hot water, then added 2 cups of pasta at 9 a.m. It was still warm at 2 p.m. Not “hot”, but then the pasta was not super hot to start with. The mouth is nice and wide so you could eat something like pasta straight from the container. soup might be a challenge, but the top cup is nice and wide, so you could pour it in there. easy to clean, seems to be nice quality, arrived on time and in excellent condition.
