Good, but LOUD
Pretty decent set it seems to be.Has an attachment set up so as to easily switch from the free standing immersion hand blender, to the cup for food processing, to the whisk, to the smoothie cup. Some details I like are that both cups have measurements on the side, however they will be hard for some to see as they are clear-so get your glasses. I also love that the lid for the smoothie cup doubles as a silicone pad for it to sit on so that the cup doesn’t go dancing around the counter from the force of the blending wand, because it is quite powerful. It blends really quickly and smoothly, for example I blended frozen mango, fresh cucumber and kale with banana and it whipped up really nice, no lumps at all. Couldn’t even tell there was whole fresh veggies in there! This is great for people with small spaces, who need something versatile that doesn’t take up a lot of space in a kitchen, and if you have a baby its great for pureed baby food. The cups are a generous size, so I made two smoothies in the larger measured cup&it was the perfect amount, and a decent size portion of hummus in the food processor. Both took only a matter or a minute or 2 to blend properly. That being said, the drawbacks are its LOUD, for one. Don’t use this early in the morning if you have roomates! Very loud humming like a small airplane, the vibrations are strong so that adds to the overall sound. It did feel warm to the touch(but not hot), after I blended only twice for a few minutes so that has me extra mindful to keep an eye on.All told it’s pretty good upon first testing so we shall see how it holds up to daily use.
Good quality
making cream soups mostly so far.
Great affordable multi-kit
For the price, there are a couple of compromises you’ll have to make;- The containers are plastic, meaning it’s a little less durable and may pick up smells easier if you don’t clean it well- The build quality of the unit has some weight and is partly steel, but the buttons and blades aren’t the most premium or sturdy things, so you may not get as much longevity out of it (blades aren’t as sharp and may get dull easier, unit might burn out)That being said, I’ve used it a few times and haven’t had issues with the actual blending part. While the blade doesn’t seem as nice as my pricier $150 blender, I was able to chop up frozen fruit, nuts, minced meat, and blend sauces without any issues. I love the flexibility of having this stick blender, as I can use it as a food processor option or blend sauces directly in the pot.My only small complaints:- the cord is rather short, so you’ll always have to use the closest outlet- the tall plastic beaker could also be a bit heavier/more stable, as it feels a little easy to tip when you have the heavy stick blender it.Overall, it’s really great value for a powerful and multi-purpose blender that can save you space while still providing good practical performance
OK
This handblender is OK, but it offers no safety if there are no attachements, and the included accessories definitely feel very cheap.I doubt they are compatible with any other system of attachement, which can also be a problem. The whisks are OK, but the brunt of the problem comes from the blender. As useful as it may be, the safety system is completely useful versus the strength of the motor.Another hurdle with this product is the lack of very slow speed. Full speed is just, you know, full speed, but it can be achieved with the “slow” setting. It just requires you to turn the ring to the max. The slowest speed is what I’d call a medium if anything. PWM allows one to go very low with the speed of motors, why this couldn’t be implemented, I’d love to know.Testing the power draw, I could not get it to draw more than 100w. If it’s a typo, or just a false claim, I don’t know, but it’s not pulling 1000w no matter what I do.Overall, it’s OK, but watch for splashbacks!
Complete, nice set for regular kitchen use.
I got a similar to this a few years ago and it’s really handy so I ordered this one as a gift for my daughter. I think I like this one better. This set is heavy and really good quality. It doesn’t feel light and cheap like mine does. This is a really complete set and comes with everything that you need. You have to go into this set with realistic expectations – this is not an $800 stand mixer but depending on your needs this is a very nice hand blender. For someone starting out, or possibly doesn’t have a lot of kitchen storage space this is a nice set and not overly expensive. I’m giving it five stars because, as I said, it is better than mine and I think they were around the same price.
Hand Blender
This is a great hand blender. The 9 speed settings and turbo mode give me complete control over different tasks, from blending smoothies to making soups and baby food. The stainless steel blade is sharp, allowing me to achieve smooth results in no time. I love the 4-in-1 functionality, which includes a handheld mixer, beaker, chopper, and egg whisk, making it perfect for a wide range of cooking needs. The handle is easy to hold and the blender is powerful enough to handle tougher ingredients without straining.
