LOVE this item
We use a sound machine as a sleep aid for our son, and weâre given this as a gift for our shower.We used it all night and for every nap and car ride. We rarely had to charge it and love the size and sound quality.Ours stopped working after almost 7 months of constant running. We purchased another immediately- as well as a separate unit for at home. The unit is perfect for travel and frequent use but likely we over did it by using it nonstop.Great unit – great quality!
Gets baby to sleep!!
Why did I not get this for my first! The Hushh is a nice potable sound machine that you can put in the crib, bassinet or car seat. With 3 different sounds, I find that the bright white sound helps my babe sleep like a dream. Some complained about it not turning off but you do have to press and hold the power button for a couple seconds to go on and off. The lock option is great if you have a curious toddler who wants to play with it. Like the nightlight option too. The battery life is amazing! This thing can go for HOURS…depending on the volume you choose, Iâve had it on all day and night without needing a charge. It also warns you with a quick flashing light that it needs a charge so youâre not caught off guard when it eventually shuts down. I would highly recommend to parents who need that extra bit of help to get baby to fall asleep and my 3 month old has stayed asleep for 4 hours straight which is pretty good considering my first woke up every 2 hours.
Gets baby to sleep in under 5 mins
I really like this product. I’ve noticed with other sound machines that when I turn them off my ears feel relieved, which means they are somewhat straining my ears. Since I bought this sound maker for the baby I really appreciate that it irritates the ears less (it seems like the decibel level is perfect for a baby). There are only 3 sound types but each one really works well for baby. I like that it’s portable as well. Ive used it for 2 days now and the battery has lasted me all night and died in the morning. I would recommend to parents for babies.
Wonderful product – when it works
This is the third Hush sound machine weâve purchased. The first stopped working after about a year and a half of daily usage (fair enough)The second started making a bizarre noise (a crackling of sorts) after about 8 months but still works well enough to use it in my toddlers room.The third one, this purchase, sounds great, but the cable and the machine have never quite properly connected. Not sure which of the two is the problem. Because the machine can last 8+ hours, sometimes we donât realize it isnât plugged properly and it stops working during the night.Love the product and the brand; have recommended it to many friends. But disappointed with the latest one weâve received.
Low-value product
As other reviews mention, the buttons on this unit stop working in fairly short order. The buttons on our unit stopped working less than five days after we started using it. The unit is on, permanently, because the power on/off button doesnât work now, nor do the volume up/down buttons, and nor does the audio-track change button. All four buttons worked fine when we first received the unit, and it was helpful in putting our two infants to sleep at night, but one morning a few days later, we tried turning it off and it refused. The button didnât work, to our surprise and neither did any of the other buttons. Weâve left the unit in the nursery, permanently running and the USB charger plugged in. If we want to shut it off, we will literally have to unplug the charging cable and let it drain the battery. Not really worth the $40+ bucks in my opinion.Update Dec. 2022: This unit has completely stopped working. It doesn’t charge, no matter which cable I use – the one that it came with or other ones. Its a dead brick.
Great
Great has a couple different sounds, good selection of volume. Battery last all night and part of another. Downfall is that it must be charged every day or it wonât make the whole second night. Would recommend, our baby loves it and helps with the bedtime routine.

Been using this since my baby boy was born! Brought it to the hospital when I went into labor and have used it everyday for nap/bedtime since my son was born. Heâs now 4 months old and it still works perfectly and holds its charge! The paediatrician at the hospital said we were smart for bringing it cuz babies are used to the loudness in our womb and itâs good to calm and sooth baby once theyâre born. Definitely recommend this product!
