This “Fill ‘N Rain Peacock Umbrella” by Yookidoo is such a great bath toy for little ones. Oh my gosh, it is so adorably cute. The materials are of great quality; everything is so smooth and there are no rough edges anywhere; the weight and size of the toy is terrific; the colours are fantastic; the size and shape of the umbrella handle and the umbrella itself are perfect for little ones to hold onto and to dunk and pour to see what happens (cause and effect) and they can relate it to real rain and real umbrellas as a bit of an early connection learning kind of thing.The toy is essentially a peacock shaped like an umbrella, and when you dunk the umbrella upside down into the bath and fill it with the little one’s bubblebath water, bubbles start coming out and then when you lift it up out of the water and put it up like you would an umbrella, a gentle rainfall starts pouring from the umbrella, and water also squirts out of the peacock’s mouth for some added fun. It’s such a hoot.This toy seems to be made of exceptionally good quality materials that will last a very long time. Everything about it is sturdy and strong yet smooth and slick. If you have multiple kids, this is going to one of those toys that gets handed down from one to the next; it’s that cute and that much fun. :)This is the third Yookidoo bath toy that I have tried and they have all been super cute and superior quality so this has certainly become a company that I trust to make excellent products, and I do not hesitate to recommend them.
My kids absolutely love this little umbrella! It works just as advertised, drawing in water through the top and letting it fall in streams down the umbrella points and the little bird’s mouth. My infant has played with this and the toy is plenty sturdy. It is great to have no battery toys these days that keep kids entertained quietly for more than two minutes and this absolutely checks all the boxes.
This toy is very cute. The colours and shape look great, just like the pictures. It is easy to use, just dip it upside down in water to fill up the umbrella and flip it back up to make the water pour out of the different holes. It does not take long to fill up and I the perfect size for little hands to hold and play with, and is very light. The top of the umbrella also spins easily, which is just manual, no buttons or anything. This works when filled with water or empty.
