I love this thing! As a first time mom, the idea of cutting my baby’s nails and possibly cutting him scared me. The Buzz B kept things simple by allowing me to simply buff those sharp newborn nails. The pads are so soft that you know they’re not hurting baby’s skin, but you can still see the nail getting shorter. Be prepared to buy more pads because they wear out quickly.
My little one is 5 months old, and he doesn’t like sitting still long enough to use only this on his nails. I end up trimming them and using this to round them out, and on his toes.
Zo-li Buzz B Baby Nail Trimmer is amazing. Trims my baby’s nails and even if it hits her skin it doesn’t hurt her at all. No accidental cuts or skin damage. Just trims the nail down nicely. She can move all she wants and it still won’t cut her. Shes starting to like getting her nails done. Thank you Zo-li Buzz B Baby Nail Trimmer!
Despite really liking the device when it worked because of the file head’s angle, I cannot recommend this to anyone.Putting aside for a moment that the motor on the Zo-li Buzz B Baby Nail Trimmer is not very powerful and that the pads wear down quickly, the Zo-li Buzz B’s motor died on us after only about 4 months. In addition, you can’t find replacement pads without resorting to a secondary market like ebay or sellers who are hiking up prices on Amazon because Zo-li does not have a supply of pads for their device. Do not waste your money on this, look at other devices like the Little Martin’s Baby Electric Nail Trimmer instead.
I hate cutting my baby’s nails for fear of hurting her and nail clippers leave sharp corners in her nails, so I thought that this would be a perfect solution: I wouldn’t have to worry about cutting her skin and this would also file her nails so they aren’t so sharp. But while I didn’t have to worry about cutting her, this thing didn’t do its job very well. It took forever to trim down her nails, and it still left her nails sharp. Not to mention it’s just one more bulky baby item to store. I’d just stick with regular nail clippers.
