I can’t say enough good things about this set! My kids just love it. They will sit there and build all kinds of things with them and it’s great to see. There are a TON of items that come wit it and they are very durable and the storage container it comes with is great. Even without following the directions they build all kinds of great things. Great value for your money and they are easy enough for my 3 year old to connect and build things.
My kids instantly fought over using these toys. Considering that two of them are teenagers and they were still interested, this is pretty high praise.I will say that they wish the set came with more wheels.The booklet of ideas was pretty handy, but you know they went rogue and just starting shoving pieces together to see what they could come up with. We have had hours upon hours of electronic free time, just using those brains and learning compromise with this building set.Everything is really durable also. We haven’t “accidentally” broken any pieces, and nothing had broken on purpose either. Very solid building set.I highly recommend these for young kiddos and older kiddos who just like keeping their hands and brains busy.
I keep a box of boys for my little great-grandsons to play with on their frequent visits. Buying toys is such fun! I saw this set of snap-together blocks at a great price and ordered. This is quite a large set, many different styles and shapes, including wheels!, They are colorful, and most of the pieces are far to large to be a choking hazard. They are sized nicely for little hands. There is an instruction manual, if you need some ideas–Dad gave it a look, and then started in; I think he was interested in making a dinosaur! The pieces are well made, sturdy and durable, and of good quality. You can see the wheels turning in their little brains as the boys figure out how to make something–sometimes it is hard to tell just what it is, but there you go! Creativity stimulation. The pieces snap together, and sometimes it is too hard for little hands to get them together. I did try putting a tiny tiny bit of cooking oil on some, and that did help. But the little guy (4) just comes and asks for help. I am hoping that with use they will loosen up–not too much tho. The security of that snap-together assembly is one of the fun things–it doesn’t fall apart! This gets a big fun recommend from everyone. It would be a great gift for any child for any occasion.
I love all the possibilities this toy offers, but I worry that the pieces are a little too hard to snap together for some of the younger builders that this set would appeal to with it’s bright colors and large enough pieces to feel goid in small hands. It didn’t break skin, but I got a little pinch while getting the feel for these, so I worry about sensitive little fingers snapping these together. It also occurred to me that by the time a kid can handle these effectively and independently they will probably already be more interested in Lego. If there aren’t Lego in the house, though, these will probably hold a kid’s attention a while longer. The wheels in this set are excellent. I’d been worried snap on wheels wouldn’t work well, but they go on easily and spin effortlessly. I’d say if your kid can successfully put a marker cap back on all the way without frustration (listen for the click!) then they will have the strength and dexterity to enjoy this building set. It is perfectly packaged in its sturdy plastic carrying case which makes it good for travel or to tuck away in a closet to pull out when kids come to visit. If you get this out for a 3 year old be prepared to sit and play with them; they will likely need help putting the pieces together.
Got these for my son and I play with them more than my son. Granted he’s 2.5 years old, so really I build stuff, he plays with the creations and inevitably destroys said creations. Great variety of pieces, fun for all ages honestly! Great build quality and can withstand a toddler so in my book, that’s VERY well built.
