The patches do provide a cooling effect, but since they don’t stick, they are completely ineffective.
Not bad. Good for achey shoulders
They stick pretty well and feel pretty good. Just want to say, however, that the baby in the product photo must have a really small head tho.

I’ve used headache cooling pads for about 20 years now. I’ve tried a lot of brands, some good, some not. These are not the worst ones I’ve purchased, but they are definitely on the bottom end.I love that they come individually packaged. In fact, of all the brands I’ve tried, these are the only ones that are that way, which is the main reason I didn’t rate them lower. It makes NO SENSE to me that companies package 2 together, when you can only use 1 at at time.These do cool a bit, but it doesn’t last long. You can see and feel that there is VERY LITTLE of the ‘cooling gel’ in them.These are less expensive than most, but they prove the old adage, “You get what you pay for”.
These are much more convenient that a standard ice pack or cool washcloth. Not only do they stay cool for a long time, but they also stay put, so you don’t have to worry about holding a cloth to your child’s head. Also great for adults to use — and I used them while gardening the other day to keep cool during a heatwave. And it worked!!
