These are great containers for meal prep and food storage. They do not leak and are dishwasher safe.
I like this size and shape plastic containers for storing fresh fruits, berries, etc in the refrigerator, and for certain leftovers. They seem to take up less space, even when two or three containers are needed, and they are easy to handle. I like screw on lids⦠and these work well and seem to be pretty leak proof. I donât normally use this type plastic container in the microwave so canât speak to that. Theyâre dishwasher safe⦠(I use top rack for this type plastic). Bottom line⦠I like these containers⦠but theyâre over twice the price of very similar ones of equal quality for my uses.
Durable thick plastic. Very reusable. Twist on lids. Mine hold up well in the fridge or freezer. My favorite way to use them is for holding shredded cheese and soups. A must have for any kitchen!
so the containers themselves are good, heavy duty hard plastic that will last for awhile. lids are made of same material BUT, they do not come off easily at all. its like they lock themselves in place. any pressure whatsoever you put on side of them when you unscrew lid results in them not twisting off at all, as if they are stuck, you have to palm the lid on top and not touch their sides, like you normally would do, to get these off. Now i have small hands so i could not use my palm to grip these to unscrew these at all. hub has larger hand and could do so but, not every time nor easily.. either-way, i have never had lids not unscrew when grabbing them like most humans would do and therefore canât recommend these at all for they may end up in recycling bin like ours did..
These look like the take away containers you get from restaurants, but the difference is, theyâre definitely made to be reusable and the tops actually screw/twist on , giving you a more secure fit.Thatâs the part I actually like. I wouldnât say theyâre microwave safe as any plastic isnât really made for long hearing times in the microwave.Iâd say tops, 3 mins at most and in intervals if you must.They can be easily tossed in the dishwasher and you donât have to worry about warping.Theyâre a perfect size for those leftovers that donât require a super big container and theyâre stackable which I like for sure since I hate wasting space in the fridge.Clear is preferable for me, so my husband can see whatâs in the containers, since for some reason he relies on my eyes and memory of whatâs in the fridge, as if he doesnât go in there multiple times a day!Overall, I like these a lot!
