This Kids Room Wallpaper has completely transformed my child’s room. The world map design is both educational and visually appealing, with vibrant colors and adorable animals representing different regions. The peel-and-stick application was straightforward, making it easy to reposition without any issues. I love how it brightens up the space and serves as a fun way for my child to learn about geography. The waterproof and durable material has held up well to daily wear and tear, and itâs easy to clean. This wallpaper has turned my childâs room into a fun and interactive learning environment.
Not much to say about the map itself â it gets the job done in style, with lots of interesting and engaging colorful graphic elements in addition to the major continents.Attaching it to a wall developed into a husband/wife job that terminated with the tactic of peeling off only about 4 inches of the backing at the top of the map, then a triangle piece off the two bottom corners to stick down the corners and make it lay flat.The wall is stucco on gypsum board. It took several attempts to get the top four inches to lay flat and then we decided to cut our losses and leave the backing on the lower portion of the map.Had to ding it one star for the difficulty attaching it to the wall….It might be an easier task if the wall surface was completely flat, as in a wall-papered wall.Itâs working for us the way it is.
I like the finish on this map – I can write on it. It’s a good size and nice & colorful. The different colors make it easy for my students to find even some of the smallest countries. The drawings scattered around the map – on the countries & in the ocean indicate things that are seen there.
The map looks beautiful, but itâs very difficult to get it on the wall without air bubbles and creases. It took a few tries to get it to go on the wall straight. Once itâs done, it adds to the room. Great for a kidâs room or classroom.
I was so excited to put this on my 10-year-old sonâs wall. He loves learning about other countries however I was quickly disappointed when I realized how sticky the wall sticker was. Most people would probably think thatâs a good thing because itâs gonna stick to the wall but as I was peeling it off the sticky paper it started sticking to itself and it was dang near impossible to get it apart. So as you can see in the picture, it does look a little crumpled because I literally had to for almost 10 minutes pull it apart from itself so that I could hang it up on the wall. You will definitely need at least two people to hang this up. My son had to hold it and spread it out as I was attempting to unstick it from itself. Like parts of the sticker ended up getting stuck to itself if that makes sense. I was determined to salvage it. The end result is not perfect, but it is a beautiful wall decal and Iâm glad I was able to save it. The plus side to the sticker being so sticky is that I donât have to worry about it coming off the wall. But buyers be forewarned that this is not easy to put up.
