Zap straps easily break
Maybe i got some defective zapstraps but almost all of mine easily broke while zipping them up. Had to use some spare zap straps i already had.
Got this kit for several different things we needed secured, and itâs very easy to install and feels very sturdy! I think itâs good to hold some furniture thatâs pretty big and help it not tip, like the clock I used this on in my house. The provided screws hold well, and itâs preferable to drill them into a stud. I think itâs a good value for what you get!

This furniture strapping solution makes a great deal of sense if you have small children who like to climb. Those who live in earthquake country should also consider a solution like this for securing heavy / top heavy furniture which could topple and cause injury.We have a newer bookcase that needed to be secured to the wall in our hallway. I had ordered this kit after researching a variety of options. We were able to connect it directly to the wall studs without the straps. We got lucky with the stud placement.Because we figured out our situation without needing to use this kit, I’ll be returning it. Having seen the quality, I wouldn’t hesitate to order this for a different spot if we ended up needing it.
