Itâs perfect for what we needed it forâto keep our son from opening and closing the kitchen lower cupboards and drawers and the lower part of our gas range (food heater). The only drawback is that the adhesive on one side keeps on popping off on one of the drawer/appliance, so we have to keep putting it back on. He has not figured out yet how to slide the latch open, which is good.
Easy to Install, Holds Well
Our 10 month old figured out how to open cabinets so we needed to get something quick. Ordered 2 days ago and got it delivered yesterday. Install is super easy. Instructions and other reviews mention to leave on for 24 hours to ensure the best adhesion. Seems to be holding well right away and she already came to investigate and they worked perfectly. No more worries about her getting into where the cleaning products are
Easy for us to open and lock but it keeps the little ones out
My 8 month daughter is very active and has started crawling. Every cabinet door and drawer is a target for her little curious hands. So I proactively applied these on things like cleaning cabinet, toilet, drawers, pop up lid trash can.These work great and are simple enough for me to open with these but I believe my daughter wonât be able to figure them out anytime soon.The directions that come with the locks are very easy to follow but don’t touch for 24 hours or at least overnight to allow tape to set. The 3M tapes sticks very well. Overall I am very happy with it.
Waste of money
These do not stick at all. The surface was cleaned off and prior to placement and the clips come off with any angle of pressure at all from the door it is stuck to. We had another brand similar to this prior and it worked fantastic (see bottom drawer clip in photos) so we thought these would be just as good…. Wrong! We are going to have to remove all of these and buy another brand.
Hit or miss.
You HAVE to use a certain lenght. To short doesnt work.Doesnt always stick properly. But when it does, paint will come off with it if removed.The adjustable strap is very hard to mange once its set. If you need to adjust it, wear gloves, or you will tear your nails off your fingers with it.If you did everything right and didnt get one that wont stick, it works well.

Wonderful product
Wonderful product. Originally I purchased a different style of baby proofing strip (the one to the right in the photo), and it took my one year old less than two days to figure out how to open them, so I purchased these ones (shown on the left). Theyâre much more difficult to open so my daughter – now nearly 2 – has yet to figure out how to open it. Easy to install and easily adjustable length. Sticks well. Love it!
Doesn’t stick
Bought these for my daughter’s room (she is 10 months old). Installed on her dressers, and they became unstuck in less than 12 hours, and that was without them being pulled on at all. Not good quality. Very disappointed.
