Excellent quality
This is very well made. Large capacity for a variety of things. The slide closure is tight and hard to get on and off. Requires some strength.
Nice size for larger cuts of meat for Sous Vide cooking.
I like the bag size, easily fit my bone in 2 1/2 inch thick rib steak, small whole chicken. Bottom expands, nice feature. I am happy with this purchase.
Perfect
Exactly what i was looking for. Big enough to get a small pie in it.
Not recommended
The silicon is too thick. It was impossible to get the bags open. Overall fail
I purchased this bag to store ice in it from our pebble ice machine. Could not be happier with it. I think it is a little spendy but It is the best option so far for us. Works perfectly for us. Had a concern on the bag and contacted the seller who responded right away and took care of everything I had a worry about. Would definitely buy from this company in the future.
I bought this bag to store a loaf of sourdough in my freezer-and itâs big enough! Just as advertised you could store/brine a whole chicken in it! I love these silicone food storage bags that can go in the freezer and the dishwasher-top rack-no more single use plastic bags-ever!
I use them for curing bacon and corned beef and marinating jerky.I wanted a conformal fit for ‘dry curing’ pork belly for streaky bacon, but even so to a certain degree for ‘wet cured’ Candian bacon and corned beef by requiring less brining fluid. Using disposable ziplocks tweaks my environmental conscientiousness, so I gave these a try. They’re big, but not super big, so you’ll have to cut your belly/loin/brisket to fit, but this isn’t that big of a deal because that all gets passed through a slicer eventually, anyway. Also, take the seal with an appropriate of salt (or drop of fluid as the case may be). The slide-on seal does quite well, but one of mine does still leak ever-so-very-slightly at one edge. For most uses, this can probably be discounted, but if you’re curing for a fortnight those tiny leaks do add up and a puddle will be found — maybe on top of other stuff below it in the fridge! So you’ll want to still use a drip pan defensively and have the bags sit in it upright if possible, or if you have to lay flat then at least fold the seal part upward above the bulk to minimize the likelihood of leakage.I also use them for marinating jerky. They’re great there because you can leave some air in and just shake it like the dickens when you want to re-distribute the product without having to actually open it.So they work great for my applications and I have since got a second set. Bacon for everyone!
Great quality, will last a life time
It’s really hard to open/close this bag. Not very good design. It is the biggest bag I’ve come across, however.
