Description
Valves are designed to preserve pump suction while allowing milk to flow into a milk storage bag or collection container. Our valves are compatible with all Ameda breast pumps and hygienikit milk collection systems. To ensure the best performance of your breast pump, we recommend replacing valves every 8-12 weeks, depending on cleaning and use.
The replacement valve fits onto pump body and extends down into bottle. Wash this piece with hot, soapy water. It is not advisable to insert any object into the valve opening to clean it. This may tear or stretch the part resulting in poor performance. Check the valve frequently for tears.

Disappointing
My valves were getting old so I got these to replace⦠tell me why they are unused, still in the box and I can see a gap⦠Meaning itâs defective. I would buy it elsewhere but I donât have a store near by that carries these valves. Im getting so frustrated with the brand and already had to replace the pump ð.

Perfect
Perfect valves. They fit my ameda mya joy pump. Best to get extra because they rip so easily if your cleaning them often and it will make your pump unusable without a spare.
Fits prefectly
Amazing, fit perfectly. I recommend getting a new set every few months because they do wear out / rip, which makes the pump not work properly.
I received the clear valves (same as the valves that came with my pump.) When they arrived I did notice there was very very small gap in each valve but I have not noticed that it has affected my output at all. They have not ripped or torn easily and I wash them every day. I pump 4-6 times during an 8 hour work day and usually once or twice on the weekend. I have been using this particular set for about two months now and am just now needing to replace them. The valves fit snugly onto my pump parts and do not come off easily. Ameda replacement parts are not readily available in brick and mortar stores so I will definitely be keeping an extra set or two on hand for emergencies. Arrived in a timely manner.
Normally I would not give five stars when what I received was not what was advertised. However, what I received were he updated CLEAR valves that my pump accessories actually came with. I was nervous seeing as the picture shows white valves. When the package came I was DELIGHTEDLY that they were the true Ameda CLEAR valves that I actually wanted. I hope this review helps you and makes you want to purchase this product because I was skeptical, but am extremely happy with what I received. Also, many of the Q and A talk about a specific Ameda pump. It doesn’t matter which Ameda model you have, the valves are universal in the Ameda world. When I first opened the package I thought there was no way these would fit my pump, however, it says for ALL Ameda pumps so I tried them. They fit perfectly. Instead of going around the outside of the plastic circle attachment, these fit inside of the attachment. SO yes, the size is different but they still fit! They work great and the output has been way better since I switched these out. Will buy again in a few months! Hope this helps!

I’ve seen some bad reviews on this product, however I’ve had no problems with it. This is a very delicate, yet ESSENTIAL, piece of the Ameda Purely Yours pump. A common complaint is that they get warped easily. Most people are yanking this piece off to clean it by pulling directly on the tip, which is the softest and most delicate part. I don’t touch that part at all. I use a spoon (if you have tiny hands you could use your fingers) to gently pull the piece off of the flange, and I’ve never had a problem with this piece. That leads me to believe that previous reviewers are being too rough with a tiny piece of plastic. I love the pump, and I’ve had no problems with this replacement piece.
