Great product
We have this in our daughterâs nursery with âcry modeâ turned on. It hears when sheâs upset and turns on with the stars and heartbeat sound. She loves looking at it! Great purchase.
Good
I like this little light. It only has three buttons: light, sound, and cry detector. The cry detector worked and the lights came on with the heartbeat sound. The lights are nice with a variety of different colors – not too bright, just a soft light display. The only downside was the noise making. There is no volume button and I find that the sound is very soft. The music and nature sounds are pretty much identical so it really only feels like 2 sound choices. For the price, it’s good and is a cute looking device.
Cute Projector
This is a very cute design with the mushroom. It look very nice in my child’s room. It seems to have some good features but it’s not really the full night white machine for us. It shuts off about 25 minutes which actually wakes up my son; he is use to the constant white noice while he sleeps. If your child is not use to that I can see how this is a great feature and will help preserve your battery life. Speaking of batteries – that is a con for this one, it does not plug in and is not rechargable.Pros are the nice colours and built in sounds. We have been enjoying laying in bed and looking at the colours on the cieling. We have found it great to meet out sensory needs and calm down during the day offering visual stimulation. So althought not my favourite for bedtime, we do use it daily and really like this product for how we decided to use it.
Great think for the baby
Itâs great thing to have on babies bad room . Music and great shadow pictures helps to calm baby down and fall in sleep ð¤
I like the look of it and all the functions
Bought it as a baby gift so I have not tried it out myself.
Ok projection
Great little light that projects fairly well at the right height. On top of a nightstand or higher seems to work best to get a clear image. An infant probably doesn’t really see the difference and just likes the light so no real issue there. One great feature is that it uses standard batteries over a built in rechargeable unit. With so many faulty electronics out there it’s nice to be able to put in a brand name battery for peace of mind.
Not as it seems
Unfortunately, I missed the part that showed this is not electric, and it only runs by battery. It’s supposed to shut off and be censored to your child’s cries but it does not shut off without being turned off. Pretty disappointed in this product.
Looks neat illuminated in the dark, and has a few interesting features.
Not a bad little unit. The design is aesthetically appealing. Very simple and fairly neutral in appearance. The lights and sounds are both handy relaxation tools. How effective this proves to be with a child, I imagine will end up being fairly subjective & vary case by case.Has some neat features such as automatic shut-off, cry detection, and color transitioning lighting.Likes:- Appealing simple design.- Fairly easy to use.- Looks quite nice in the dark when illuminated.- Projects stars on a wide area of ceiling.Dislikes:- Audio selection limited & quality of sound is just OK. Considering the audio is a relaxation feature, better sound quality would be helpful.- Doesn’t seem to be away to approach this unit once active, without getting light in your face as the stars are projected in so many directions. Tend to prefer lights or light-up devices don’t project light directly into the eyes.- Unscrew bottom to use batteries, instead of offering a more efficient charge by USB or AC outlet alternative.
Got the mushroom and it says volume control on the box. WHERE!?!! There is no volume control button. Only 2 sounds? What a crappy product
I recently ordered this Angelcare Magical Dreams Celeste The Musical Mushroom Projector, Sleep Soother with lullabies, White Noises and 3-Night Light Colors Options and have been using it for a few weeks and we think it does a good job of light projection. Overall, I would recommend it as I think it is a quality product.
We don’t use the sleep soother/lullabies. They are fine, but it’s not something needed since an older child wanted this for the cottagecore aesthetic it lends to their room.I actually love that it is battery operated because my children’s rooms do not have convenient outlets. My kid can have it on the bed, take it with to light up the hallway or bathroom… Love the convenience of it.The stars aren’t very sharp, but I’m finding that to be common for different projectors at this price point, so I’m not mad about it. The closer it is to the projection surface, the better it looks.
This is a cute little thing. I love that it’s cordless, as it made it easy to place anywhere in my child’s room without regard for finding an outlet or worrying about a cord. It projects a sweet set of celestial images, but I must say, it needs to be DARK-dark for it to really be seen. And the further it is from the ceiling, the less crisp the pictures are. It’s still cute and fun, but the pictures for the product might be a touch misleading for the robustness of the projection. The sounds are fine, though we don’t use them, and we have not used the”cry detection” feature, either, though the manual explained it well and it seems like it could be cool or useful for those with a baby (my child is a toddler).
The colors are nice, and the sounds are soothing and not overly loud. It isn’t very bright and really works best in a dark room. If you’re an adult that just needs a quiet space with something soothing it works really well for that. The mushroom design is cute, and it feels very solid. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap or have any obvious defects or sharp edges. Otherwise, it is a pretty straightforward product.I didn’t see it stressed in the item listing anywhere, but the instructions are clear: it is recommended that you use standard alkaline AAs with this. I tried some Amazon Basics NiMH AAs and some lower mAh Energizer rechargeable batteries, and I got no response from the product. It didn’t even play faint sounds or have flickering lights. Nothing happened. I ended up trying some Energizer NiMH AAs with 2300 mAh, and those managed to get it to work. So, you don’t necessarily have to use disposable batteries, but I would get AAs with at least 2300 mAh if you are going to go the rechargeable route.Apart from a slight issue finding batteries that would work, I had no problems or complaints about the product. I just wish it was more upfront on the listing that they recommend disposable Alkaline batteries with their product and that it may not work with some rechargeable AAs.
