I got this because I was terrified of nail clippers on baby and because I love crystal nail files for myself. This one is a good size to use on baby from newborn and up.So far I havenât had trouble and baby doesnât mind me filing nails while awake. I did it while sleeping for the first 4 months but now itâs easier to do while awake since I can do other things during nap time. I can do it fast since it works quite well. I just sing a song while putting baby on my lap facing away and I can get the hands done by the end of the song.
My wife absolutely loves this file for our daughter. It is much less abrasive than a traditional file. Our daughter use to throw a fit when we would file her nails. Now, with this, we are able to file without fuss. Highly recommend.
I found myself having to use both the nail clippers and then using the file to soften the nail. This is a great size for baby fingers. However, the sent me the wrong color twice. Not a big deal for the price but maybe their ordering system is wacky.
Great product and not hard on babies nails. Take a bitOf time to file them but beats using the clippers and having an accident.
