Great For Kitty Obsessed Kid
Pros: The basic reason I gave this book 4 stars, is because it was literally the only book I could find for a toddler that had realistic pictures of cats. My 1.5 year old son is obsessed with cats. He often grabs this book, points at each cat, and in a high pitched voice say “kitty!”Cons: Is it the best touch and feel book? Not really. 4 images have fur, 1 has velvety ears, 4 have shiny foil, and the other 3 are miscellaneous. (ex. Rough feathers). It’s also not a great story, basically just 6 pairs of cats that are opposites with some random words thrown in, you can tell this from the product’s pictures.However, if you’ve got a kitty obsessed kid like mine, it’s worth the price. I recommend this book, and would probably buy others, like the puppies and kittens one.
Great for babies who love cats!
Our (now) one year old granddaughter loves this book! She seeks it out and looks through it every time we get books out. She really enjoys touching all the soft bits of fur.

My kids like catsâ¦
So they werent disappointed. I found it to be a cheaply made book with very small areas of touch and feel on only some pages. Itâs not that impressive.
Lovely pictures but textures are much too small
This is a cute little book. Bought for my little guy who loves cats. He loves the pictures, but the touch and feel sections are very small, and theyâre hard for little fingers to find (Iâm talking textures that are less than half an inch wide – my finger can completely cover the section).I was also hoping more of the textures would be fuzzy and furry (itâs cats, after all) but most of the textures are either things that shouldnât have textures (like stripes and spots in a catâs coat) or theyâre smooth things with no texture added to the page (water bowl is one example from the book).

My daughter is obsessed with cats so she enjoys turning the pages to see them however as a previous commenter said there really isnât very much âfeelingâ pages in the book. Still cute though

My daughter is 9 months old and she really loves these books. They are easy for her to hold and flip the pages. The photos are colorful and cute. She loves her cats!
My kids love cats and this was the best addition to our home. My little one year old really loved the sensory aspects. The text says kitten but we read it out as cats because thatâs what he currently understands.
