Do Not Buy This Camera! Customer Service is Horrific.
This company will not stand behind its products, so if it breaks, it’s on you. I have had this camera for 6 months and at first one camera stopped working and just played audio and now the other camera has gone black. I reached out to both this retailer on Amazon and the company itself and both are refusing to support or replace. This Amazon retailer won’t support you after 30 days, which is absurd. Most people buy these cameras before their babies even come, so in some instances, you won’t have even tried it out and you already can’t return it.The company, Baby Sense, was even more frustrating. They also refuse to stand behind their own product and told me to buy it again with 15% off. Their website has 20% off, so frankly, it’s such an insult. Why would they expect you to purchase from them again when they won’t support you?Customer service aside, it’s also worth noting that the night vision is atrocious. It feels like the iPhone4. Our last camera was light years ahead of this one. You can also only hear audio from one camera/one kid, so if you have kids in different rooms, you actually have to choose which one you want to hear.Definitely give this a pass and support a company who will actually support you back.
Donât buy it
After a few months of using, one of the monitors became blurry. I contacted babysense to replace or refund me for one of the cameras. They refused. On top of that, on several different occasions the parent monitor did not go off when my baby was crying. Very disappointed in the product for the price.
Extremely Disappointed.
If you are in Canada, do not purchase this product.I purchased this camera in June 2022 and the parent unit (screen) broke just after the 30 days mark. The reseller would not assist in providing a new unit or refunding because it surpassed the 30 days and babysense would also not help because they do not ship to Canada.Overall very disappointing that the monitor broke so early as well as the lack of support afterwards. Poor quality monitor even when it was working.
Terrible photo, and constant humming noise
The image is far too zoomed in (even when it’s not actually zoomed in), and there’s a constant humming noise from the monitor. It was purchased as a gift for us, and we hate it.Customer service is also terrible. They were going to replace the monitor and then told me they canât replace it (after almost a month of very slow responses back and forth) because âyour current location is outside of the country of purchaseâ which isnât true. It was purchased in Canada and should be replaced within Canada. Will never purchase another Babysense product again.
No issues getting this camera to connect to the monitor even though I brought the monitor with two included cameras. Works great, only had to replace my camera because my son knocked it on the floor!
Great clear view, big screen, clear sound, easy functions, durable, especially the plug connector, truly a great product.I had a Motorola model for several years, cost three times as much. Plus the cable connection broke on the motorola that I had and also broke on another newer motorola model my parents had. I wish I had this Babysense from the start.*** Update Review – The monitor started having issues in which it would not stay on. This occurred just short of a year of owning it. I went to the baby sense website with my issue and was contacted the very same day that they would be sending me a new one. Short and sweet I love it. The customer service rep was very pleasant and helpful. Can’t wait to get the new monitor as I really enjoy this product.*** New Monitor was sent so I plugged it in and was back in business! I’v had it a couple months with no issues. Super happy the warranty and customer service was such a breeze!
PLEASE NOTE that the IMAGE accompanying this listing is off an HD S2 add on camera and not a V43 camera like the description says. I was concerned because our existing cameras did not look like the one pictured, but when it arrived, it was the correct V43 that we needed. The HD S2 camera says “Babysense video” on the bottom and the V43 camera just has “Babysense” on it. It integrated perfectly with the Babysense system we already have; we just needed one more camera and our current set supports up to four.
This is a pretty good price, glad I bought it. I love that it shows the temperature and the picture is clear enough I can see my child breathing. The battery lasts for several hours but you have to keep it plugged in at night otherwise you’ll wake in a panic because the low battery sound is loud and you can’t turn it off. The camera also didn’t turn down far enough to see my childs crib so I had to put a small towel under it to point it further down. Other than that, I like this unit and would buy againUpdate: I’ve had this monitor for about 10 months and it’s worked great until recently. My monitor started having problems and one of the cameras wouldn’t register the temperature. I contacted the seller and they called me back within a day. After some quick troubleshooting, the tech determined i needed a new monitor and camera so he mailed them out immediately. I received them within a few days and everything works perfect now. I’m changing my review to 5 stars for the amazing customer service. Highly recommend!
Bought these after our expensive Motorola camera stopped working after only 1 year!These cameras are amazing! The video quality is fantastic, the sound quality is great, and the mobility of the camera allows us the ability to see all parts of their room which will be great when our twins transition to toddler beds from cribs. I have recommended these to several people since we got ours. Definitely a fantastic buy.
