Babysense Parent Unit for Video Baby Monitor Model: V43, Will Not Work with Other Models

I have used this baby monitor with all 3 of my kids and tried 2 others. I did not keep the others because they were not near as good as this one. I love the sound and clarity of the screen and that I can use 1 monitor for 2 different rooms!!Recently my monitor just stopped working and I called customer service. They were great at helping me troubleshoot to see if it wasn’t something we could fix. They ended up replacing it for free. And they were so kind and thoughtful every step of the way.I would recommend this product because it’s great but also because they have great customer service.

Update:I contacted customer service and was simply amazed by how they responded! I received a reply within hours. The person validated my concerns, and offered a new set or a refund.Because I have been so happy with the cameras and the picture quality, along with their generous offer to help, I chose to receive a new set. The reply I received was within an hour saying they would do that and gave me an order number for the new set, which should arrive in 3 days-even, though it’s the holiday! And they did give me a refund of my monitor as well! The c.s. rep was so kind, personable, and professional. The company was the best and easiest to work with, clearly wanting their customers to be, and stay, satisfied! So I changed my stars because I love the way this product works and the way the company responded when I reached out to solve the problem. Best customer service interaction I’ve ever had, bar none! Thank you Babysense!I loved this dual monitor in so many ways. The picture is pretty clear, the audible is good, the light on the parent monitor lights up when baby makes noice and the rotation on the cameras makes it very easy to get just the right position. However, in less than a year the parent monitor quit (it was just past the 13 mo warrenty) and so the company made me buy a new one. That was last October. The new monitor now has now done the same thing only lasting 8 months of rare use. The screen is just black. I am a grandparent and only use it two time a week until my grande quit napping a few months ago. Now I only use it for our new grandson when he comes to visit-about every other month. This should not be happening. It’s almost $70 to replace the parent monitor. On a fixed (disability) income this stacks up quickly. The company needs to do some quality control on this and be more customer friendly and step up with a replacement when they certainly must know its poor quality.Bottom line, buy a different product.
