These are nice and sturdy lids and fit perfectly. Havenât experienced any leaks at all.
Handy and sturdy.
I love that these are one piece and don’t have a loose rubber to get lost or moldy. I use for ferments, storing food and for opened jars of jam or pickles. Also used 3 for my kids as cups, drilled holes in the centers for a silicone straw. Spill free glass cups awsome first cups.
No more rusty pickle jar lids
I have bought several of these in regular- and large-mouth sizes. I was tired of rusty lids on pickle jars in the fridge and thought I would try these. They are great. They look better, wipe clean easily, and do not leak if the jars tip over in a picnic basket. I am trying to reduce my use of plastics so we are also using them on large canning jars for dry storage in my pantry. I wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Iâm so glad that I stumbled on these on Amazon.
Better than metal tops, no stains or rust
I also have the design where the top flips up , thought it would help my arthritis, not so much for that but theyâre both very good.I use glass jars a lot and Iâll buy more of these tops.

Good jar lids, VERY overpriced!Good jar lids, VERY overpriced! You can find these exact lids @ Walmart for less than 1/2 the price, or knockoffs at the dollar store, for 1/3 this price. Also, was looking for the 86 mm Ball ids, entered that in the search, Amazon showed me these (which are std lids) when I specifically asked to see 86mm lids, so, I ended up with something I did not want. I guess good thing, cause I went to WalMart & bought for 1/2 the price.
Fits perfectly and looks great! I bought these for my husband because the tin can lids were starting to rust and thatâs not good for your health I assume. These are perfect for the Ball brand mason jars, they are very easy to wash as well (especially in the dish washer). The plastic material is very sturdy and hard. Great for traveling too!

These are the best invention ever. If you know anything about Mason or Ball jars and the lids that areusually used with them, you know the lids rust rapidly. You can use the metal lids & seals to seal whatever,but then remove them and use these lids. They do not rust and are easily cleaned.
If you have home canned goods you know what happens, you open the jar but have no easy way to safely seal it to store it for a few days in the refrigerator. These are exactly what you want, no metal rings [that could rust] and you don’t have to keep the lid flats.
