Works great on our atrium railing. It was easy to put up
The width of our upstairs balcony railing made it challenging to install this product. Attaching the zip ties while keeping the netting tight and smooth without gaps required two people in our experience. Once in place, it is secure and looks good as well as serves its purpose. The netting does as it should by providing a barrier between the balusters so âlittleâsâ and their toys do not fall through.
i liked how easy and strong it is to install. keeps my dogs heads out of the slats.
This banister guard was easy to install. I installed it with my husband in less than 30 minutes. I will say to not stretch it too much (width) because that will take away from its length. That’s what I did so my entire railing isn’t covered from top to bottom even though its 3 feet tall. Maybe one day I’ll fix it. It still discourages my toddler from throwing toys so I haven’t fixed it. My toddler is 15 months old and loves throwing toys through the balcony railings. This has stopped her from doing so. Some of the railings are loose and this has discouraged my toddler from pushing up against them. I still supervise her the entire time that she is out on the balcony but this gives me a piece of mind, as I live on the third floor of a building. I had plenty of zip ties after installing so I can take along with my after I move. it was too long for my balcony so I just wrapped the extra material around the railings at the end. Overall, good product.
Removed a few stars because there were not enough big ties to fit even the top row, much less the bottom row. Ended up making larger ties by putting two small ones together – but made the job a lot harder and does not look as nice as I’d hoped.
