3.5 stars⦠Itâs not the worst toy out there
The babies in question playing with this toy are my niece (7m) and cousin (10m). This review is based on their experiences and their parentsâ feedback.Both babies, in general, like this toy. Its bright colours and fun shapes were appealing, and I do agree with the claim that it teaches cause-effect pretty well. You press a button or turn a know, and ta-da! A dinosaur appears! Both babies had a hoot over that, again and again.The thing is, some buttons were kind of stiff. In particular, the two in the middle (the one that turns and the switch that needs to be slid back and forth). Neither baby had any hope of really making those knobs work, which is understandable, but to be honest, there were still pretty stiff to me, an adult. I didnât have any of my godchildren there (who are toddler aged) to verify, but I showed the toy to my friend (the 2y godkidâs mom) and she said that her kid would grow tired of this toy pretty soon and that it is more appropriate for the 6-18m age. Hopefully, the babies will develop strong enough motor skills to press these buttons for themselves. (They do seem to like spinning the eye, though.)The parents involved had mixed feelings over the toy too. On one hand, itâs nice that it doesnât need batteries and seems relatively easy to clean. On the other hand, for something that seems to have limited features, it has a pretty hefty price tag (~$25CAD at time of review). It also isnât the most convenient thing to be lugging around, so if youâre going to get a kidâs toy without batteries, then there might be better smaller, softer, and more entertaining choices out there instead.So, all in all, itâs not a bad toy. Itâs just also not a great one either.

Helps develop kid’s sensory and motor skills
This toy will keep your baby or small toddler busy for some time. We liked how the eggshells are opened to reveal the dinosaurs. The kid will develop his sensory and motor skills with how the buttons operate. There is nothing to complain about.
