Used as a topper replacement.
Our mattress, after 2 years started to dip at the edges. Wasn’t the cheapest mattress but discovered the coil count was low so we looked at buying a new one. Couldn’t find a way to donate it so thought to try and save it by removing the existing 2.5in mushy soft topper and installing this firmer ‘pad’ in it’s place.Unwrapped and unrolled no problem. Barely detectable odor. Let it air out and expand for a few days as recommended. Ours was the 2in so no noticeable expansion. I put a few dings in the material flopping it about but otherwise no noticeable flaws.Fit our queen size perfectly no cutting needed and is held in place by the heavy weight fitted protector cover. Was a gamble but mattress saved! We saved the expense of buying new, the hassle of disposal and kept a perfectly useable item out of the landfill.This fix (hack?) transformed our mattress. It’s much firmer and more comfortable than the previous one we removed so for our application it worked perfectly. No edges weaking problems after a month or so and we sleep soo much better.

I asked for this topper for Xmas as I I get sciatica, back/neck pains and I love it! What a difference it’s made for good night sleeps. I got the 3inch to really make sure for comfort ðMy body weight is nicely dispersed and doesn’t cause sore spots, like from sinking in my old mattress.It is pretty cooling too, I don’t find I get hot from the comforter itself.It comes pretty compacted in a box and inflates pretty quick. It comes with a blue plastic cutter for the packaging and does say to watch to not cut the comforter, but even being careful I did slightly cut it, so used scissors instead lol wasn’t a really a big deal.Only thing now is ill have to get deep sheets to fit, my normal sheets works ok but they do slide up lolWorth the price! especially when you compare the price of a new mamory foam mattress. I also got my queen topper for $125 on sale around Xmas.Loving my sleeps!

This is more ‘firm’ than others so be advised, quality is good, expanded to 2.5″ after opening
The ‘thickness’ of these toppers is always a mystery to me, 2″ is 1-1.5″, 2″ is 1.5″ ish, and so forth.This one arrived in a typical box, it’s folded in half long ways and rolled then compressed, they do provide you with a letter opener to open the vacuum pack once you have it on the bed.You have about 5-7 seconds to move it around before it begins to expand.I’d say this one was ‘sleep-able’ in 10-hours or so but I waited the full 24-hours before I remade the bed.This is much more firm in case you are wondering so be advised on that. Some other reviewers mentioned to turn it over so the ‘copper’ colored side is down and the charcoal side is up to change the softness, haven’t done that as they both feel the same, I may after sleeping on it for a while if I don’t like it.Toppers are a subjective thing anyway, I’m too cheap to spend $1K on a new mattress as they too are a best guess, but may later this year if for some reason this doesn’t work it’s way out.You do get off-gassing to be sure initially after all this thing was compressed at a factory overseas right after it was created those gasses have to go somewhere, that is anther reason they recommend you wait and leave it before sleeping on it, makes sense to me.Overall, it’s neither good nor bad, just is to me if I made a mistake, I’ll let you know but the quality is good, no issues just for goodness sakes, if you say 3″, then provide 3″…
Comfortable but not 3 inches
I left the mattress out as instructed for more than 48 hrs several days in fact and my 3 inch mattress only puffed up to 2.5 inches. What can you do not like you are going to send it back⦠just a hassle. Makes me wonder what the 2 inch mattress ends up as.
Exactly what I was looking for.. but issues with manufacturing
Before I complain, I want to say that the quality of foam is very good. We opted to try the dense side, which seems to be a perfect in-between for my fiancee and I (She likes firm, I need firm/soft). Although, due to the issues below we can’t really use it. Unfortunate really.As you can see in my photos, the mat is clearly 61×81. An inch too big on each dimension. I didn’t think it would be that big of an issue until we tried putting the sheets on.Here’s my problem, how hard is it to get measurements correct?Now I’m stuck with a lumpy topper. I would recommend to anyone that spent as long as me looking for a multi density foam, but beware you might need to take it to a local foam shop to get it cut square and the correct dimensions….
