You get what you pay for
They are indeed blackout. The velcro/adhesive stuck well for me except for one piece which I think is because of user error. Itâs basically a tarp/thin waterproof feeling material. I wouldnât call it a curtain, but it keeps things dark. The thin material made it easy for me to cut out a hole for my AC though.
Gets the job done.
It helps with privacy, light and those warm sunny days. Bang for your buck.

The material is like plastic blinds, but they really cover every spot of ligth, our room is full dark and we are super happy about it
Keeps the light out
Ordered this as a replacement because my previous blinds did not work very well. I went with a blackout one because I figured it could really help at night to sleep since it would block out any light from out there. It has been so good, that during the day it gets dark in here, as there is no light allowed into my room from the window. It is very easy to use with the Velcro, And itâs super convenient how I can just pull it up to the Velcro at the top in the morning when I want to open my blinds to let some light into my room. The blackout part sure is true, as it does not allow light to get into my room and it can sometimes be pitch black in my room at night, itâs wonderful. I would highly recommend these blinds if you are looking for blackout blinds, or just something nice to get rid of the light. 10/10!
Good, but not secure
I really wanted to like this cover, as I thought the velcro would be a nice middle ground between covering the window and leaving it accessible. However it’s just really not able to create a good and tight cover around the edges.The material is genuinely fantastic, very lightweight and able to block pretty much all light shone against it, but the velcro and adhesive makes it difficult to keep everything fully dark. Since my main issue was that light was getting through around my old blinds, this didn’t really solve any problems for me.

Lightweight, completely blackout material, very large. Not sure why the hook and loop (velcro) are black as trim is often white but serves its purpose ðð»
The only bad things I can really write is, as others have mentions, it comes folded so there’s a bunch of creases. I easily got rid of them by ironing them out but it still would’ve been nice no to have to do.At first I was lazy and just drapped it over my blinds. Just with that I was impressed with how little light came through. And that which did was dim enough not to cause issues. I finally got around to ironing it out and cutting it up. I once again was lazy and didn’t try to be perfect. A little light still comes through but with the provided product, you could definitely get it down to zero light coming through if you really desire so. My phone screen at lowest light level produces more light than what is coming through to give you perspective on a lazy job.Didn’t notice any funky smells and the provided Velcro is wider than it appears in the photos. It’s definitely worth it to cut them smaller. And for those who regularly open or close their windows, you can take off part or all of the film and the Velcro half still stuck to the window can pass in-between the two windows.Quality was great, no issues, no holes. Very easy to install. Both sides are a satin black but one side is more flat while the other has a bit more woven fabric look. I got it half off but definitely worth it’s full price.Pictures show: Just drapped over blinds, actually applied with blinds down, actually applied with blinds up, Velcro passing between windows, outside view with and without film.
Easy to use no special tools other than scissors and really helps cover up any windows in this house for privacy and sunlight reduction.
A little difficult to get measured and cut exactly to fit your windows but they totally work. The room is completely dark and the light blocking definitely works! Theyâre thin also and stick super well
Well wasn’t what I thought it’s just a regular black shower curtain look or a table cloth with some velcro that I could of paid $$5 total for.
Bought this to cover a window that was giving off too much light. The material cut really easy and the velcro straps are strong than i thought.
