These are by far the nicest brushes I have ever used. The thinner brush detanges without breaking the hair. There are 3 layers of bristles to do the job efficiently. The wider brush has a massaging effect on the scalp. It has one level of short boar bristles. Using both brushes simultaneously (the thin one to part the hair & the wide one to massage) made my scalp feel great and left my hair feeling soft….so soothing!
Good product
Works well for slick backs and makes my hair so smooth!! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because occasionally some bristles will get caught on my hair as I am brushing it back and then have to fix it with a different brush or start over.

It is a good product. I Recommend it.
Comb is nice.
As someone with finer hair I much prefer the comb over the slick back brush. The combination of smaller boar bristle and longer plastic bristle seems to do a better job regardless of how I’m using it. Both feel pleasant to use for the most part, but I don’t see myself using the brush over the comb very often.

I was late to the game
Iâm in my mid thirties, have thick long hair, and have never owned this type of bristle brushâ¦I know, wild! Iâm a convert, and donât know how I lived without them for so long. I use these super frequently. Theyâre great for adding volume, smoothing out frizz and creating a slick style that stays put. I also use this on my six year old son who also has extremely thick hair, so this is has been great to style his hair with. Quality is great, brushes are sturdy and Iâm extremely happy with this purchase – donât hesitate!
Bristles have a good sturdiness so works well for slicking hair.
I really like the handle on the larger brush, it is more comfortable in my hand. The bristles are short and strong without being too stiff. The body of the brushes look like wood, but I think they are molded plastic, not sure. I like the smaller brushes bristles but not the handle, it is not comfortable to hold for more than a minute or two.
Amazing quality
This a nice boar bristle brush combo. The thinner brush has combination bristles and is very effective on my husband’s thick beard, while the wider brush has only boar bristles – good for general hair brushing and even better for slicking back hair. My husband would have preferred combination bristles on both brushes (better massaging effect and better bristle penetration to scalp) but really enjoys the product either way. Brush handles are of beautifully finished wood. The thinner brush has a pointy ended handle which seems to be intended for parting hair but does not appear pointy enough to effectively part. Solid four stars overall!
I had higher expectations and hoped it would help tame my hair into a decent ponytail, but it didn’t.
