Used on my upright freezer as a extra precaution of the door not shut tight. Did the trick.
Easy to Open
I ordered these to replace a failed latch. They work well for my purpose. The sticky pads are very strong. However, as far as a baby-proof lock goes, they are relatively easy to open. Definitely not toddler proof!
Break easily & easy to open
These look nice and are easy to use as the parent. But, they are also easy for the baby to figure out how to open because they only have one button to open them. Also, we used them on two cabinets and both have since broke from our 1 year old pulling on the two handles at the same time and one side breaks off.
Not for the long run
My 14 months old figured out how it function and to open it. Otherwise good quality for price and easy to install.
Grandkids safety
I am using it for my bifold closet door to keep the young grandkid’s (4 and under) out of the games closet.
Not baby proof!
I bought multiple packs of these to baby proof my kitchen cupboards and drawers. Not only did it take toddler less than 2 minutes to figure out how to unlatch these, she also managed to just completely rip it off of the swivel piece. I wish I waited to see if these would work before buying multiple packs, as I now have to buy all new latches in a different style to keep my toddler safe. Would not recommend for baby proofing!
Not strong
They are ok but not very strong.
Needed a latch to keep small refrigerator in outside RV kitchen closed while traveling. Magnetic seal was not enough. These installed without tools, hold door closed, and can be left unhooked when stopped. Perfect for my purpose, good price.
Easy to fit and use. The colour is great on my grey kitchen units.
Our cat likes to open the cabinet where we keep his dry food when he gets impatient around meal time. We used one of these on a lower cabinet and he stopped trying after he realized he can no longer get in. The adhesive is strong, definitely seems like it’ll hold up.
V good quality, easy to use
We use these for our hidden cat litter box to deter guests and our dog getting to see whatâs inside. They work wonderfully and i honestly love the design but the adhesive is a little weak. We open it pretty much daily for litter cleaning and the adhesive has definitely been struggling to stick now that weâre 2 months in. Good thing we have extras! Will continue to buy these again!
