Maybe not the strongest or best quality baby proofing item, the plastic does seem a little lower quality, it serves it purpose though! And if youâre like me and donât want to do the magnet thing for cabinets, this is the way to go!
Flimsy lock and paint peeler
Put these on our cupboards and pantry to keep the littles out. Haven’t had them on long and two so far have broken. The latch to lock it in just crapped out so it just sits in the groove. Tried removing it to put another on and it took off the cabinet paint . So they’re pretty much on there forever unless you want to repaint your kitchen cabinets.

Decent but doesn’t last long
Product is good when it works, but it doesn’t last long. It gets worn out quite fast with opening and closing of the latch. I was hoping it would at least last longer than mere weeks.

These are great for cabinets with great adhesion and very easy to install
These are easy to install and adhesive binds well to kitchen units but they are fragile and fail easily under.We needed six and have had to use all four spare to replace failed clips and now they are failing to.At best they seem to last a month or so.
We searched extensively for baby proof cabinet locks that would work for our cabinets, not be a nightmare to open/close and not too noticeable. We initially bought the spring loaded latches that you attach from the inside, like most people have but the way our cabinets are built, those didn’t work for us. We heard the magnet locks were just annoying and didn’t want to go that route. I found these locks to be super easy to stick on and easy to unlatch. Especially appreciate that I can do it one handed and if I choose to leave them unlatched for when the baby is not around, you can do that as well. They blend in fairly well with the cabinets. See video as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend. I believe they come in white as well.
These easily stick on and the very strong adhesive (door paint beware) has a good hold. I would say these work great for little kids but remember that you have used and locked them, a parent can easily break it if opening the door too forcefully. Luckily they come in a big pack so it can be replaced. But it does keep my little kids out of places they shouldn’t be.
