Works with glitches
Update: started to work again after 2 weeks of not working at all. Magic. Well, definitely looking towards Garmin nowâ¦Worked well but completely stopped working after a month and a half of using it. Itâs charging but not turning on when I put it on.

Pretty accurate
This heart rate monitor is pretty accurate. It is easy to set up with the app and easy to use.It’s nice that it is sweat-resistant so goo for workouts.It might even be slightly more accurate than a smart watch.It’s relatively comfortable to wear as well.

Bought this because I got tired of the relative innacuracy of optical / wrist based heart rate monitors during weight sessions.It’s perfect.Easy to use, pairs instantly with my Garmin watch, it’s comfortable, and is very accurate.Battery life is great, it’s easy to charge, and the visual heart rate zone indicator is very useful during weight sessions.I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a chest strap heart rate monitor to compliment a wrist based one for workout sessions.
Stopped working after 2 uses
This HRM did work and seemed accurate for two runs. It beeps once it is clipped into the chest strap and lights up so you know it is functioning. After two uses, it stopped beeping and lighting up when it was clipped into the chest strap and was no longer discoverable by my app. I tried charging it, nothing, tried flipping it upside down, nope, charged again, nope. Thank goodness it broke quickly because Iâm still within the return window.

Considering that heart-rate monitor tech is included in every smartwatch these days (as well as in various other gadgets), it feels a bit last decade to still be manufacturing monitors that exclusively only provide this function, especially at a price that’s higher or equal to many smartwatches. That aside, if you do want/require ‘just’ a heart-rate monitor, then this is a good one and does its job accurately and well – for those people, this will be a good choice (i.e. keeping it simple for elderly users).
