I am reviewing this beautiful cotton rope laundry basket. It comes in a plastic bag; inside it is folded up and tied with a ribbon. It is a very attracted package once the plastic is off; it would be a great gift for a baby shower. Once I opened the basket up it did not want to keep its shape. So I stuffed blankets in the hamper and left it for a couple of days. It’s looking better (last photo), but it was suggested a steamer is needed to get it back to it’s intended shape. So if you don’t have a steamer, you might want to borrow one! I Love the two tone look and the cotton rope weave. I like the fact that it has handles and I could see it being used for way more than just laundry, or blankets, it could be a toy chest or a home for stuffed animals in a kid’s bedroom, there are plenty of uses. You might need to put in a little work in on this one, but it is worth it.
The quality of the material seems great and itâs super cute. Itâs seems very durable!Unfortunately itâs shorter than I expected AND due to the way it was packaged, has a funny shape to it.I took off one star for the shape itâs stuck in. I think that the more I use it filled with laundry, itâll start looking how it should.
We have been using this as a laundry basket. The basket is a little taller than our other baskets and fairly skinny. The cotton rope is well woven and thick. The handles feel sturdy when picking the basket up with a full load of laundry. I like these cloth baskets because they are easier to store when not in use and I think they can take alot more abuse than a traditional plastic laundry basket.
This laundry basket is top quality. It’s just the right size for my needs. I love it so much that I will be ordering another one soon.
I was looking for a laundry hamper I could keep in my one closet. This one fits nicely and is deep enough to fit a bunch of clothing. It does come a little out of shape but if you were going to have it in public view, you could iron it to get it into shape. The quality is great and the handles are sturdy. Very beautiful but understated basket.
