Mostly awesome
My toddler is really enjoying this puzzle so far. We found the circle puzzle to be made perfectly and to also align with Montessori method where everything only fits into one hole, giving the child proper control of error. The Dinosaur egg puzzle was SO close to also being truly Montessori but missed the mark just slightly. While the eggs are all different sizes and can only fit into each corresponding colour, the dinosaurs that go in under the eggs are able to fit into multiple different colours taking away the necessary control or error. While this flaw does unfortunately make it not an authentic Montessori material, I still find a lot of value in these puzzles and they do offer great entertainment for little ones who enjoy puzzles. They are both made well with smooth edges, no paint chips or damage or weakness to be seen and because of that I am recommending them.
Adorable wood puzzle for little ones!
This is a perfect little puzzle set with two boards. It is made of wood and the pieces are great quality. From the wood to the paint colours, Iâm really impressed with the overall quality of the puzzle!This is perfect for any little dinosaur living kid. The pieces have little grip knobs which make it perfect for little hands. These knobs make it easy to even little kids to play with.This is a really great puzzle, quality is great and my little one loves it! It would make a great give for a 1st birthday or Christmas.For 17.99 CAD, youâre getting great value for price. I highly recommend.
Partly successful wooden puzzle with a few issues that should be addressed.
This is a set of 2 different wood puzzles, one focusing on colour matching with different size circles, and the other with “hidden” dinosaurs with eggs.These seem geared towards different skill levels, with the circle puzzle being far more simplistic. However, I found a few problems with this puzzle. The pegs on the circular covers have a metal pin on the bottom. Even before it was used, this metal pin was creating scuff marks in the puzzle itself, marring the surface. Worse yet, one of the pieces is extremely small. The orange disk is 0.8″x0.8″, making it a definite choking hazard for the intended age group. Even the blue disk falls under the recommended size for toddlers. A piece is considered a choking hazard if it is under 1.75″ in diameter.The dinosaur puzzle is the better puzzle in the package. The intent is to match the egg colour to the dinosaur colour. All the pieces seemed to fit well and are of a good size. I only saw 2 quality issues, one with excess glue on the peg for the blue egg, and a chip in the decorative decal on the green egg.I’d be wary of getting this with some of the issues described. The circle puzzle definitely needs to have some problems with its design fixed. The dinosaur puzzle is pretty good as it is though.At the time of this review, the puzzle set goes for $18. That is fairly inexpensive, but that may be a factor with some of the issues I saw.
Great puzzle set for the little people
This is a wonderful puzzle set that has lots of colors and shapes for the little people in your life. The dinosaur theme is really nice and the kids can understand that they once roamed the earth if you tell them. The quality of the product is really great and you don’t have to worry about losing pieces. My Grand Niece really likes this puzzle.
4.2 STARS – WELL MADE – THE HIDDEN DINOSAURS ARE A NOVEL IDEA FOR A TRADITIONAL PUZZLE
The “Guess Who I Am?” puzzle is a fun, engaging and educational activity. The puzzle board and pieces are well made with all smooth and rounded edges. The hidden dinosaurs are a very creative addition to a traditional wooded puzzle, they are such a hit with my grandson.The colorful dinosaurs are very appealing. The handles are well sized for little ones fingers, making it easy to be grasped. My only critique would be that the handles are only glued onto the pieces, without them being screwed in there’s the possibility that they could snap off.The TUCIMIBO Dinosaur matching eggs puzzle activity is a bit pricey but not unreasonably so.
High quality
I have a few wood puzzles for toddlers. This is amongst the best finished. There are no sharp or rough edges to hurt little hands.The puzzle is fairly simple. The little dinosaurs under the eggs are cute and colorful.I have just two complaints. The nails under the puzzles stick out and cause imprints underneath. See my pictures. The orange round puzzle is small and dangerous for young toddlers. I would certainly take that one out for those cases. The other pieces are safe.4 Stars
LOVE IT
This wood puzzle for toddlers is really great! The eggs hide the dinosaurs which is cute and the objects fit well into the boards. Just a quick wipe to clean and safe for younger ages since the pieces are on the bigger side. Love the vibrant colors and the quality of the product!
These are good puzzles for an older baby or toddler. The pieces on the circle puzzle definitely have a few pieces that are choking hazard size and wouldn’t be appropriate for a baby or young toddler. I bought these for my 3 year old son, so they will be perfect for him.
