I bought this when I was having a hard time finding a basic thermometer because I’m not a fan of the infrared thermometers. They are not accurate. This is just for home use and its perfect!

This thermometer is very easy to use and even easier to read. To start, just press the blue button till it turns on and then it’s ready to put in your mouth, under your arm or in your baby’s bum. Keep it in / or under there until you hear a beep, which will indicate that the thermometer has obtained the measured temperature. It takes around 28:22 seconds to provide a reading.The thermometer screen will not only show the measured temperature in degrees, but a triangular arrow will appear on the screen under 3 colored lines which they call a ”Feverline”. This will indicate if there is a fever or if the temperature is normal. The arrow will either be pointing towards the green line (which means that there is no fever), yellow line (which means there is a light fever) or the left part (beginning) of the red line (which means there is a moderate fever). Or on the right part (end) of the red line (which means there is a high fever).I have used it on myself (orally) and on my toddler (under his arm). He really doesn’t like having his temperature taken but I did manage to successfully get accurate results multiple times without him making too much of a fuss. Every time I use this thermometer, I really enjoy the fact that I don’t have to double check any numbers to find out if someone in our family has a fever or not. Great little body temp. thermometer, thatâs fast and very convenient to use, and easy to read
PROS:⢠Build quality seems very good.⢠Flexible probe tip is useful for achieving the desired insertion angle.⢠Easy to read digital display with backlight⢠Straightforward to use. Simply press the button (of which there is only one), wait a second for the blue light to turn off, then place the tip under the tongue, in the armpit, or in the rectum. After about 10-15 seconds in your mouth, or about 30 seconds in your armpit, the device will start beeping and the screen will light up, and the temperature can be read. (Note: Normal temperature ranges are different between the different body areas. See included instructions.)⢠Celsius and Fahrenheit.⢠Accuracy seems good. I have no benchmark to compare it to, but I can say that itâs within 0.1-0.3 degrees C of my IR thermometer, which Iâve previously determined to be of reasonable accuracy. reliable thermometer with cover
I’ve tested this among other thermometer’s and must say I really love this one. This company has a 1 year replacement policy so they really stand behind their products. I’ve ordered other things from them and love their low prices.The thermometer is flexible and comes with a cover as well for sanitary reasons, so you can carry it in your baby bag or keep it in your medicine cabinet. It’s really easy to clean and with the cover provided, it’ll stay clean!It’s very accurate and SUPER affordable. We all know that thermometers can get really expensive when you’re buying in store, this is a crazy good price point. The battery is provided as well, no need to run out to get batteries when you receive this in the mail.The display is big, which I personally love because sometimes it’s hard to see the numbers on thermometers, especially for people with poor eye sight, this shouldn’t be a problem.Last but not least, I love that this automatically shuts off, the battery won’t die on you and will last so much longer because of this feature.Cons:I find the wait time to see the temperature a little long, however I won’t bump it down a star for this because they haven’t marketed this directly to children, adults are able to wait 20 seconds to see their temperature, children, not so much.As a disclaimer, I received a discount on the purchase price of this item to evaluate it and test it out. My review is entirely my own opinion of the product and not in any way shape of form influenced by my discount. Clearly had a fever and it said it was normal temperature. So that sucks.

This thermometer is a bit off, by around 1 C. We checked when we visited our family doctor. It always reads low but we are able to get a fair idea if baby has a fever or not.

I work in a high volume animal clinic. Hopefully my experience will translate to how good this would be for humans.I love this thermometer! It gives a very quick reading and a large display. It does beep, but the display also flashes as I cannot hear the beep with all the noise in the clinic. The tip is flexible and small so I don’t have to worry about taking temperatures of an 8 week old kitten and then a 5 year old husky. They wiggle as much as any child, so I feel safe taking rectal temperatures of any mammal with this thermometer.The other key thing is that it recovers quickly. What I mean by that, is that if I have to take temps on 3 different animals in a short period of time, I just have to clean it and use it. I don’t have to wait for it to reset. Since I use this in a high volume situation, (up to 60 uses in a 4 hr period) the alcohol and lubricant got in to the battery compartment of the old ones I was using. This thermometer has a longer probe that keeps the battery away from any fluids. It does appear to be waterproof, as I have dropped it solution and there was not problem afterward.I ordered two of these. I agree with other reviews that the battery needed replacement very quickly. This has been the case with different brands of thermometers that I have purchased in the past, so I don’t hold that as a negative. However, one of the thermometers did have a problem. I contacted Easy@Home and they replaced it. The whole process was painless.I would recommend this for home use and non-critical clinical use.
Easy to use & accurate for axillary temperatures
This has been used a few dozen times in the last year. At some point during that time, the beeping alerts have gone silent The lighted display is no longer consistent, either., although it still seems to record temperature accurately. Sometimes it lights, sometimes not, and no longer beeps. Time to buy another thermometer. Will try a different brand this time.
I bought this thermometer because as most of the golden generation knows as you age your eyesight goes. I got a new puppy who got ill and I needed to check her temperature. This thermometer is great. It has large letters and gives you a reading in 20-30 seconds. It is very well engineered and gives you a readout for humans as to whether the temperature is normal or not. I definitely recommend this product for any ones use. You can use it orally, rectally or axillary.
Not very accurate. I can get a different reading within a minute on the same spot in my mouth. Then another different reading from the other side. Itâs .3 or .4 different some times. Not accurate enough for basal body temping, which itâs markwted for. My dollar store one is more accurate! Iâll be finding something else to use. Good features: backlight, memory (although itâs not intuitive to find those readings as you have to take your temp before you get to the memory). Price is nice.
