Description
This modern and sleek wall mounted horizontal baby changing station from ECR4Kids is designed for use in commercial restrooms and in daycare, preschool and institutional installations. The smooth, comfortable concave changing area features a nylon child safety strap with a side release, a convenient oversized diaper bag hook at either end for ease and two built in paper liner dispensers. A pack of 500 count disposable pad liners are included with model ELR-18009. The pneumatic cylinder provides a controlled, slow opening and closing of the changing station for safety. Easy to clean and naturally bacteria resistant, the station is made from high-density polyethylene in a white granite color. When properly installed the wall mounted changing station is both ADA and ANSI compliant. To ensure proper installation, a qualified professional must install the ECR4Kids horizontal changing station in accordance with installation guidelines. Due to the variety of installation options, hardware is not included. A qualified professional is required to evaluate your requirements and provide appropriate installation hardware. We purchased this for a public library washroom. The only thing we did not like was that there was no installation hardware included. But a quick trip to the hardware store solved that issue.

I purchased 2 of these changing tables for installation in restrooms. Overall, these are well build and not that difficult to install – but the level of difficulty may vary based on your wall material.For drywall and stud installation, the easier method would be to mount a plywood backer that is the same size as the back of the changing table. This way, you do not have to worry about hitting a stud and have plenty of material to anchor to. I would not recommend wall anchors of any type with changing tables, but that’s just my personal level of comfort.For my installation, I was installing this into a cinderblock (CMU) wall. This was actually easier, provided you have the right tools. A hammer drill and tapcon concrete anchors work perfectly, as long as you have a washer for the main anchors. Simply measure and mount the provided hanger, then mark where the main anchors need to go in the wall.Installation took less than 30 minutes, once I had the tools and hardware ready.The product itself is well constructed, but I feel that the “wipe holders” aren’t really necessary unless you’re planning to stock them yourself, and most commercial spaces don’t do this. The “safety strap” seems well placed and strong enough, and the hinge mechanism is solid.For the cost, this is a very nice changing table. There’s no excuse for any all-ages venue not to have one of these in both the men’s and women’s restooms.

We purchased this for our church nursery and was a great addition! We have a small room for several kids and this allowed us to remove a bulky changing table. It is sturdy, easy to clean, and we are not scared to have a squirming toddler on it. Well worth the money.
This works great. Make sure that it is installed properly and you are able to put a child on it with no problem. This thing is not flimsy, it is well made.
