Not bad, but designs aren’t very thick
For the most part, very nice. The base itself and the cover that the pegs actually go into are both made of wood; there are a few mildly rough patches but nothing that I would say warrant sanding or are worrisome safety-wise. However, I am a little annoyed that it isn’t as finished, like with a clear coat or something. The actual designs included are actually very thin cardstock that kind of “pin” to the wood with hole sin it, and then you stick the mushroom pins through both the design and the wood. However, the cardstock is quite thin and prone to bending and damage; it would have been nicer if they nixed the cardstock and made it with thinner (but more sturdy) plastic, or just printed it on thin sheets of wood to begin with. However, for more careful children who aren’t likely to jam the pins into the cardboard roughly it’s a nice toy. It’s just a few steps short of a full 5 star rating. By no means a bad toy, just not as nice as it could be.
