I use the sensor to monitor the temperature of my 90+ year old father.Set up was simple after following the instructions. I first tried to set it up about 30 feet away from the wifi router. The tuya app immediately recognized the sensor but couldn’t communicate with wifi. After reading the instructions I deleted the sensor from the app, then moved the sensor near the router. Again, the app recognized the sensor, only this time it connected to wifi without any issues.Relocated the sensor to another room about 30 feet away and it works flawlessly.Nice interface in the Tuya app.Data appears to be accurate.Small enough to be inconspicuous.Good value.
This is a small thermometer that comes with Celsius installed from the manufacturer. A login to a website will give you access to the smart app. Once installed then you must give permissions to all of your data before you can change Celsius to Fahrenheit. Iâm not comfortable with that so this device stays in the fridge with Celsius.
