Works beautifully! Priced right.
Installed this lock on the freezer door of our brand new fridge. For some reason, the freezer door was popping open every time the fridge door was closed. We kept finding the freezer open and dripping and it was maddening. This lock works perfectly. Sticks very solidly. We let it sit for 3 days before using it freely (we held the side attached to the side of the fridge in place while opening the freezer door for three days to ensure that no strain was placed on the adhesive until it had cured). It is so easy to use. It looks nice/unobtrusive on the fridge and we no longer worry about thawing everything in our freezer!
Works great, simple to use and install.
Works great, Whole fridge moves when pulling on handle without unlocking! The adhesive works great, mind you we didnât touch it for 3 days to let it cure.It was easy to install, just peel and stick. I suggest sticking on the door piece first then without touching the fridge slip the side inside the hook with a bit of wiggle room, then press to adhere. It is so easy to use. Locks automatically and a press with two fingers releases. When it wonât work: door sticks out past side of fridge (wonât engage, just goes freely or almost freely), or door is set back from fridge side (hook bangs against front of latch or bypasses it altogether)For us, the door is set back 3mm and it still works very well.We avoided the straps as you have to attach them all the time and they are ugly.
Does the job!
Because of the thickness of my fridge door vs the adhesive portion of the lock (which was actually bigger), I had to place it at the top of my fridge, instead of lower by the freezer handle (freezer on top), which makes it less evident to use. Took a while for me to get used to its placement, even with a reminder note, but the adhesive stuck even when it was the first few days and I pulled the handle accidentally without unlocking. I bought the lock since my cats jumping off the fridge top open the freezer door just enough to cause some defrosting so I’m happy this can’t happen anymore!
Didn’t work
Maybe this lock works for babies and pets but not for preschool aged kids. My daughter is 4 & was able to open the fridge like nothing with this on. I don’t know if she’s just crafty or this lock is that defective. I gave it 1 star cause it didn’t work for me. Maybe other ppl will have better luck. Only positive is that this lock is easy to install & has a strong adhesion, it’s very hard to get off if you misplace this on the fridge so be careful.
Works perfectly!
We were having an issue with our freezer door opening when we shut the fridge and this totally solved the problem! It was so easy to install and super secure. Itâs also not a pain to open when youâre actually trying to open the freezer which is nice.
Works well with upright freezer
I like everything about this product. We got it because the odd time our upright freezer would pop open. This fixed it perfectly.
Great idea, terrible sticking material
It works great… when it is still in place. The sticker, unfortunately, is not great and therefore renders the entire thing unusable rather quickly â a shame, as the idea is quite good otherwise.
Hold proof refrigerator lock
I use this to keep my freezer door locked. During the summer I noticed the seal of my freezer started to deform and it created a gap in the freezer door so air was getting into the freezer, creating icicles forming. I bought this to help keep the freezer door completely shut and it worked!
This is amazing! I bought this as my seal on my freezer part of my fridge freezer wasn’t working and kept opening when the fridge was closed. As I have children I couldn’t keep checking everytime they went in the fridge so I thought I would try this! It has worked an absolute treat! I left it on for 72 hours without opening the freezer just to be sure it had stuck well and it is solid! Highly recommend this product!
UTILE, FUNZIONA, FACILE INCOLLAGGIO
Lo usamos porque se nos abrÃa la puerta del congelador al cerrar la nevera⦠Hace su función perfectamente y es cómodo tanto de instalar como de usar.
Possibly like other people I have a mini 7.4 cu ft Avanti refrigerator that has the problem of the door popping open now and again. Now this usually happens when the refrigerator was very full after a shopping trip and the items on the door would press lightly against the items on the shelves causing a delayed popping open of the doors (happens once in a long while with the freezer too). Now the pop open usually happens in the middle of the night when I was asleep so I would awake to the door cracked open just enough so air would get in and create tons of condensation on the back and walls of the refrigerator. Once I discover the pop open, I would have to re arrange the items inside and hope it doesnât pop open again, then it would take days for the excess condensation to dry out. I was finally over it so I took time to look around the Internet to find a file for 3-D printing some sort of lock similar to the EUDEMON locks. I didnât have any luck finding such a file for 3-D printing Possibly like other people I have a mini 7.4 cu ft refrigerator that has the problem of the door popping open now and again. I didnât have any luck finding such a file for 3-D printing. I have CAD software so I then was getting ready to create and design my own fridge lock that I could 3-D print. Before dedicating hours of design work, I decided to comb Amazon to see if any product exists that would fix my issue. Athena I found the EUDEMON Home Refrigerator door locks!!! PERFECT! They are absolutely perfect for keeping doors closed while still allowing easy access. They are extremely easy to install, I had both of them on 5 minutes after delivery. I knew they were delivering so I did pre clean the mount areas with 99% alcohol beforehand. Once mounted, I tested them and they work so well. You just push inward slightly with your fingertips to unlock the lock and then simultaneously pull outward to open the door. I no longer have to worry if a door item is pushing slightly against shelved item when the refrigerator is very full. I love my Avanti refrigerator because itâs perfectly sized for my room. Makes my room a tiny apartment. (Also have a counter top dishwasher in the bathroom-lol) the second picture shows a modification for the small refrigerators I hope will help others with mini refrigerators. I added a 12v computer blower fan for circulation! (Use brushless – works better in moist environments) Any handy person that knows electrical a bit can do this and it makes the tiny fridge a perfect refrigerator. I mounted the fan with double stick 3M tape (in case it needs replacement) and used a tiny 12v power supply you can find here on Amazon. The upgrade cost about $18. The fan will distribute the cold air around the entire refrigerator so you donât have any warm areas, it makes my mini fridge as good as any full-size fridge, Iâd say itâs even better. Most all tiny fridges donât have fans to keep costs down but adding a fan gives a gigantic improvement to performance. There will be one negative: fan noise. I installed a somewhat quiet fan but it stolidly is heard because it moves air. You do need to mount it at the very top and blow downwards. Most tiny fridges have 1/2-1 inch space to the back of the shelves for airflow. Any 12v computer blower fan will work. I also added some stainless screen on each shelve (see pic) so the items wonât push to the very back and block airflow, eliminates ice building as well. I no longer have to run the refrigerator on a high setting and I have it adjusted just before the milk freezes so everything is ice cold without ice forming but runs on a lower setting than without a fan. I started on #4 and made an adjustment every 2 days till ice formed on the top of the milk then backed it off a hair every 2 days till ice disappeared then it ran perfect from there. Sodas and juice are ice cold and are much more refreshing and better tasting. Foods lasts much longer with the very cold and evenly distributed temperatures. I Previously worked in the food industry so this is very important. And after adding the lock, makes me extremely happy with my small 7.4 cu ft. Avanti Refrigerator. Everything is better than expected with these locks. Battled 3 years with the door pop open issue and itâs finally fixed! It only happened 6-8 times a year but was never pleasing to discover..
