Picture quality is great, the main thing we were looking for.Comes with wide angle lens add-on which was perfect allows us to leave it close to crib and capture everything.Display is large and quickly responds.Only negative from us is that we cannot keep the screen on permanently even if plugged in. There are 3 settings 1, 3, 5mins duration where the screen will stay on without any activity until it shuts off. Only thing preventing a perfect score is no option to just keep screen on until shutoff by user. You can set auto activation when room temperature or sound reaches a defined number but still would prefer an option to have always on.
Monitor Died in less than 2 years
This was my second time purchasing this unit. The monitor screen won’t show any image and there’s no sound even when fully charged (LED indicator still works). I ordered another set for the second child so that I now have 2 cameras and one monitor to watch both sleeping kids.
Disappointed with customer support
Very disappointed with eufy. Our camera is not working after under a year of use and eufy will not help us as we received it as a shower gift. Pointless to spend almost $300 on a monitor that wonât last long
Great picture quality, battery life of parent unit terrible
The parent unit battery fails consistently within a few months – charge now holds for less than an hour. eufy support will ask you to mail back your monitor in order to get an exchange under warranty – so you’ll have to buy another monitor anyway, may as well find one with a useful battery.
Great when it functions, only lasts half a year.
We loved this camera at the beginning, having a non wifi monitor was important to us – unfortunately it has stopped working twice in the last year. The first time the company replaced it – however within 6months of using the replacement we ran into issues. Both times the camera stopped working, each part (camera and parent device) both causing the issue. If you want to invest this much money for a monitor that may last 6months, choose this. If not I would keep looking.
This monitor has great distance- I can walk several houses down the street and it’s still connected! Setup is easy, video quality is good. I like adjusting the screen brightness between day and night. Overall, this baby monitor is set it and forget it. Love that we don’t have any struggles with it.
Donât buy it-waste of money. Our first one we bought 4 years ago was great so we bought more for our playroom and second/third babies and every single one needed to be replaced around the 14 month mark. Usually itâs that the video doesnât work and only audio (refer to picture) or the audio doesnât work but the video does. One of it just disconnects and says no network as well. Works just enough that you canât do anything with warranty. We reached out multiple times with the issues to try and get replacements (not even a refund) since they stopped working after the 1 yr mark, the company doesnât do anything about it. Weâve bough 5 all together just thinking weâve gotten a bad one and the next will be better but just the same thing over again. Waste of money and time. Donât buy it. Get something else.
This is a really good monitor for all ages. My 6 year old wanted a camera in his room because heâs scared of monsters and I wanted to give him extra security. You can change the view of the camera from the monitor and it covers pretty much the whole room. He likes that I can talk through the camera to him as well. The video quality is decent for a monitor. The charge doesnât hold well, so I keep it plugged in constantly. Easy to set up and good value for money.
The quality of the display is impressive, even when the room is pitch dark. My only complaint is after about a month of use, the battery tends to die out quickly.
We really like these baby monitors. They are very basic, no frills, and probably not the best of the best but for the price, theyâre great. I like that itâs not connected to our phone and it does great in the dark.
