These straps slip right through the holes in my high chair so theyâre unsafe for baby.
I honestly donât know why ppl are giving this such negative reviews- those sound mostly like user issues to be honest. For one, you canât expect the straps to fit perfectly and precisely in EVERY SINGLE slot for just anything out there- plus, itâs not and expensive top of the line product! You get what you pay for. That being said, because of the size the the particular slots available on my Graco bouncer, I was able to easily and satisfactorily replace the straps using this set. A lot of it is is the user too, not meaning to be rude. I highly recommend reading the dimensions of this product if uih are worried that it wonât work for your item based on the previous reviews. Just compare it to the slots you will be threading the straps thru and save yourself time and money in case they arenât a good fit. Iâll also say that I tweaked my set a bit to work with this particular item- meaning I actually cut off the ends (where babyâs back meets the seat) and sewed it together as thatâs how the original was attached, and that wasnât hard to do since this particular set is straps isnât heavy duty thick seat belt material. So, biggest takeaway- donât expect it to be as wide and heavy duty as a safety belt strap, and give it some grace! I donât think itâs fair to give this such bad reviews based on the fact that it just didnât fit your items and such. Again, you get what you pay for and you gotta look at measurements. Unlike my husband, it pulls out. Will be returning.I have an ingenuity high chair and the straps fit through the slots that hold the straps, but when I pull on them they are able to slip through the slots. I had to pull kind of hard but not excessively, so if the chair fell over the straps would pop out and there goes your baby. They are made with a thin material, not like the usual thick nylon straps.
