No app to download – manual use only, takes 3 minutes to get a temperature reading
Sadly the app that goes along with this basal thermometer is just not available both on Google Play and Apple store both coming to page not found type of messaging, and although it seems to be a free app, reading a little more shows that the first year’s subscription is free with an unknown amount charged later: all minuses when you already have to aquire a thermometer that has a 3 year service life expectancy.I tried using the thermometer without the app to record and track the temperatures, or more so putting it in other apps available. The instructions say to hold it under the tongue between 1 to 3 minutes, it took me 2 min 41seconds before I heard the beeps with the reading, which feels like a very long time, and makes you wonder if it’s working. The screen then lights up orange and gives you a reading and should transmit to the app automatically. Instructions are simple and the thermometer has a very fast 2 seconds auto shut off to save the battery (included), which is CR2032 and according to instructions should last between 3 and 6 months. It is easy to replace as it comes with a stainless steel tool to open the battery compartment similar to what you see in a smart phone. If you missed seeing the reading you can always close and reopen the thermometer and it will show you the last recorded reading.The thermometer also mentions having a fast mode, normal mode and mercury mode each lasting 30sec, 1-1.5 min, and 3 minutes respectively. I am not sure if just one mode is programmed or how to switch between them as the thermometer does not have any buttons or adjustments on it directly.Overall, it seems to accurately measure temperature to two decimal places, but without the app it functions as well as any other sensitive digital thermometer, which are less expensive.
App doesnt exist
I used this thermometer before, but it got lost during a move. I ordered a new one, and upon its arrival the app that goes with the thermometer doesn’t exist. The seller emailed me a barcode for the app download but again, it didn’t work. I had to return the ultimately totally useless thermometer that doesn’t even show the temp on the thermometer, ONLY in the app
Nice Thermometer!
I got this for my significant other she really likes this. She likes how it came with its own battery which was easy to install. She also likes the quality it works fast and it is lightweight. She likes how this helps tracks her fertility. Overall, it is a nice thermometer i would highly recommend it.
App missing from play store, works to take temp fine, overpriced
Overall it’s an overpriced digital oral thermometer with an app that was removed from the play store. At current price of $40 CAD, the value added by an app which simply charts numbers for you doesn’t justify the price for me. If you hate simple math and enjoy the convenience of your phone auto recording numbers for you, then this might make sense.When I went to install the app, the play store said it was not available. This means it was removed for violating rules or they took it down themselves. Either way, this means I can only use it as a plain thermometer which typically cost around a quarter the price ($10 CAD). Also means you can’t change settings on it.Powered by common watch battery which was included.
Great for beginners – easy to navigate app
I read some of the reviews and saw that some people had issues accessing the App. From my experience I was easily able to find and download the app and the pairing with the device was also fairly seamless. Maybe there was an earlier bug that has since been fixed. but I found the app to be the highlight of this thermometer and a real game changer for me.Personally, I am new to tracking my temperature to track ovulation so I love that this device/app essentially holds your hand and guides you through the process. It also helps you interpret the data and keep it stored in a central spot. If you are new to this and a bit lazy(like myself) this is perfect.The app also offers additional tracking options and devices that I am interested to see if I could get any use out of in the future. Overall, I appreciate that the app presents as a one stop shop for easier understanding of tracking my cycle and fertility.Drawbacks:Okay the one thing I must note is the thermometer takes some time, 1-3 mins to take your temperature. This might help it be more accurate so it is hard for me to criticize it without knowing why but I am a quick morning person before getting to work and I find the amount of time it takes is sometimes hard to fit in or remember because essentially you have to lay in bed to accurately take your temperature for a few extra minutes. If you’re like me and run your mornings with a minute by minute quick get up and go this can be frustrating.
Just a basic thermometer without app support
I have mixed feelings about this thermometer. The design is appealing, but it ultimately falls short in functionality. The thermometer requires a companion app to access its full features, but I couldn’t find the app available for download, no matter how hard I searched. Without the app, it functions just like a regular thermometer, which is disappointing. Additionally, the reading speed is noticeably slower than my existing ear thermometer, which can be a hassle when I am trying to take quick measurements.On the positive side, the thermometer is precise in its readings, so it does deliver accurate information. However, considering the cost, I expected a lot more than just a good-looking device that doesn’t perform as promised.

Worked twice and since then Iâve had to wait 5 mins + for temperature and still doesnât capture it.
Works well
One of my favorite features is the automatic data recording with the Femometer app. As soon as I take my temperature, it syncs via Bluetooth and stores all the information. The app not only tracks my BBT but also predicts fertile windows, making it incredibly helpful for family planning.
