The protector comes with adhesive on it so you can stick it to an object. The tape suck great to my fireplace, but doesn’t stick to the product itself. Now the pad has falled off, but the adhesive is still stuck to the brick. Junk.
We are living in a rental and I am not sure the type of cleaning that was done over the years to our brick fireplace. The edge protector sticks great to the front. As you can see from my picture, it has been unsticking on the corners. This is not at fault to the product, just to the film on my brick. I am sure the product sticks better on a smoother surface but it does work on rough brick, just make sure to clean well before hand and let dry completely.
I like that sharp edge of hearth is coveted/protected from little ones!
It simply didnât stick to my brick
Got it for greatgrandson. It is a great idea and kind of works but it just won’t stick well. Corners are especially problematic. A bit disappointed.
