Easy to install, works well with our Ikea kitchen
My husband installed these on our Ikea kitchen lower cabinets to keep our 1.5 year old from emptying all our cabinets. They were easy to install, taking only a couple minutes, and the only caveat is that you need to have somewhere to put the strap (i.e. under or beside the drawer/cabinet). We installed our straps both beside drawers as seen in the third and fifth pictures and below (as seen in the second picture).A nice feature of these is that they have both a closed and locked position. As a primary kitchen user, I would be annoyed if these were locked all the time since you have to pull out the grey tab, turn it and then press the sides to open it from the locked position. The closed position however only requires you to squeeze the sides to open.So far our 1.5 year old hasn’t figured out how to pen them from unlocked position, but our 8 year old has no problem opening them.We’ll have to see how well these hold up over time, but so far we’re happy with them and even ordered another set to do more drawers.
So far they work great!!!
Super easy to install and pretty simple to figure out how to unlock. We put thus on the refrigerator so our autistic niece (she is 6) doesn’t get inside to eat or break things. So far she hasn’t figured out hos to unlock it and she hasn’t been able to pull it off the refrigerator (and she has already tried a couple times ð) so the adhesive is working really well. We also put on the door under the sink and the dresser. Noe we need to but more are they work well for us.

They do and can break easily but they do work really well don’t let older children or teens use these just an adult
Donât stick well/last long
We bought them just over 3 months ago, and theyâre worse than ever, but theyâve never really stuck well on most drawers we have them on. not enough replacement stickers, or straps in case cut too short (no extra ones). for 3M stickers theyâre garbage to be honest.
Great mechanism butâ¦
The whole mechanism is great, and how they are hard for babies/toddlers to figure out how to open them – so 5 stars for that. But they just donât stick very well. I have 3 on my ikea cabinet (with 3 doors) and Iâm constantly finding my toddler playing in those cabinets because the sticky part always falls off and leaves them open!
