I have a baby gate that can be attached to the wall. My mini pig is strong though and one side just wasn’t holding together. I was looking for something to anchor the gate to the wall, so I didn’t use both mounts. It worked perfectly though and took less than 5 minutes for me to install. Much easier than the mounts that came with the baby gate.
I have a book shelf of about 80lbs that these hold steady to the wall as expected. Easy to install. It does screw into the furniture in case you did not want holes in your furniture. These latches aren’t very pretty but they do hide easily behind the furniture.
I purchased these after being intimated by the more scrappy ones I originally purchased. So far I have installed for and they are easy to install and seem sturdy. I will probably continue using.
