I absolutely LOVE these boosters. I use Blueberry simplex diapers on my son and he is a heavy wetter because he pees through everything else. l love the ease of use of the one size all in one simplexes, but even though they have a lot of layers of cotton, they aren’t enough to keep him from leaking. So I have one of these in each one of my blueberry simplexes. I’ve read on other websites that each one of these can absorb up to 3 ounces of liquid, which is great for us! I put one in his diapers and we’re good to go, he even naps in these. The stay dry top is just a layer of fleece, which makes it soft and feels dry to the touch. Get these, they are amazing!
These really help give that extra tad bit of absorbency you need sometimes at night. I recommend them. I did not try another boosters, though, so I can’t compare. I did occasionally use an infant-sized prefold as a booster and that worked okay, but not as well as this. The prefold was significantly cheaper, though. The booster definitely did a better job, but if money is your main concern there are cheaper options.This booster, like everything from Grovia, in my opinion, seems of good quality construction. The material is soft and doesn’t feel that wet, even when it is completely soaked. We only had 2 of these in our rotation and they have stood up to a lot of use and still look practically new. They seem to be able to absorb a lot of liquid.
These are great if you want to boost your absorbency without causing so much bulk. They really do feel dry against baby so thatâs always a plus. I will say that you should prep them well. For sure wash 4-6 times and youâre good to go. It seems like a lot of work but worth it when cloth diapering.
These are great for overnight. I use the grovia all in ones and they are wonderful during the day but at night it seems they need a little extra absorbency so these have been a great help. My only complaint is that itâs a little harder to get the smell out but after some trial and error with wash routines I finally got a good system down to get all the smell out.
This booster and the shells are the only part of this hybrid system that are designed and work well.I use these boosters on top of a prefold with the GroVia Shells, and used alone with the shells they would be good for potty training.Overall I do not like the snap in soaker inserts for this system, see the review on them on another page, but I do use these nice, soft and trim boosters to protect my son’s bum from wetness and chaffing and provide a little extra absorbency. They are surprisingly absorbent for as thin as they are.
