My newborn loves this sleep swaddle. We got a 2.6 tog version, and use it for his overnight sleeps and he just loves them. He falls asleep immediately and the extra zippers make it so easy to check if he has wet his diaper without waking him up. We love this so much, we bought 3 extra ones. Incredibly high quality construction and the fabric is top tier. These feel amazing to the touch.
The swaddle came highly suggested by other parents. We got it and put it on the same night. Baby actually slept great for a few hours! However when trying to re swaddle the zipper broke off and baby was stuck inside the swaddle. Super stressful to have baby stuck inside the swaddle screaming at 3am. Iâve never written an Amazon review but I do not want this happening to other parents of newborns!
The fabric is thicker than others weâve used and it has definitely helped keep our babe sleeping and cozy. The only thing I wish these companies would do is place something in the fabric around the zipper. Something that will help to keep it stiffer so the fabric does not get caught in the zipper. Weâve torn holes in countless sleep sacks over this issue. Overall really happy though and will be purchasing another. Definitely better quality than Little Sleepies.
The 2.6 TOG is really good and thick. When we first got the swaddle it felt soft and flat. The care instructions are to machine dry but it says the piling may occur ans you should air dry it and let me tell you for $70 dollars that should not happen.It takes a life time to dry in the machine so probably it would take days to air dry it. So that doesnât makes sense for me, knowing that babies spit up constantly the materials used should be better.Is it worth to buy it ? Probably not in my opinion. I am at loss because the piling climps up on his back, I can only imagine how uncomfortable that may be. I am now researching a better product.
I really loved the idea of this sleep swaddle/sack. It was so soft and my baby seemed to enjoy it. BUT it ended up bunching around her face covering her mouth and nose, which was terrifying. Sheâs the correct size and weight to be wearing it so Iâm unsure how this is okay to happen. Be aware. Unfortunately Iâm a couple days outside my return window and no longer able to return it.
