Not good at all
Product broke within 4 minutes of use.Dog leaned against it slightly and all 4 corners tore.
Not the best
If your dog is visually deterred, then this is probably fine, but any dog that figures out they can just bump into it or run straight through it isn’t going to think much of this and it’s going to get completely destroyed on the first run-through. It’s also awkward to use because it’s a fixed width slightly wider than the hallway (mine anyway) so it just kind of hangs there and can’t stay taut.On top of that, while this is advertised as a ‘mesh’ gate and looks like mesh, it doesn’t feel like any mesh I’ve ever seen. You expect a mesh fabric to be soft, this is just… I don’t know. The entire thing feels like it’s made of paper thin plastic that will just tear at any moment.Spend a bit more and get a retractable soft gate or a swinging solid one, as this gate is about on par with buying dollar store hooks and cutting up an old sheet.
Cheap piece of crap
The sleeve for the metal rod started coming apart the minute I tried putting it together. And when I put the hooks up on the doorway, it was very clear that they were not the right kind of hooks to make sure that this flimsy mesh would stay in place. Don’t buy this product.
Don’t waste your money
I don’t think this gate would hold back the smallest dog.Disappointing, it came with no instructions, sticky tabs that hold it in place don’t stick, hard to remove if going in and out of gate. Mesh is nice but large dog could go right through it .
