Great for first few weeks of nursing
Great to collect letdown when milk is first coming in. After 4 weeks it doesnt have enough suction to collect much, so I have switched to the regular Haaka
Only collects what comes out naturally
Only collects letdown that comes out naturally/without help. No suction to help bm come out like the haakaa cup. Great for substituting the Cotten breast pads.
Not for large chests
I tried these to help with engorgement and they didnât work for me. I have large breasts, J cup, and it really didnât stay on or sit comfortably. But I definitely think they work well for more normal sized breasts.
Great for letdown
Really like this product to save my bras or the use of nipple pads. Does not have great suction, best if used inside a bra to save it falling off or spilling. Especially if using while nursing the other side, my boy has booted it off a couple of times and spilt milk everywhere.
Exactly as expected
Good quality, easy to pour milk out. Down sides are that it tips over easy when set on the counter so be careful not to spill and it comes unattached easily but that is a given since it’s a low suction device
best haakaa
I really love this haakaa. Way more discreet dans the original one since you can put it in your bra and you canât with the other collector. Really saved me in the first few weeks of breastfeeding for collecting breastmilk that was leaking on the side that i wasnât nursing. You can install it with and without succion depending on what your intention are!
Garbage
Garbage didnât work at all. It was too late to return. Iâve breastfed both my babies the Hakka was amazing but tried this as it was easier to put in a bra and didnât get a drop from it. Super poor thin plastic and came off so easy,
NCVI Cups
Not big nipple friendly!This product is ok to catch letdown.After a while it is painful to wear even more so if you are moving around lots. The cups leak even if they arenât full. Get the ncvi cups they are more comfortable and way more discrete and half the price.

The Haakaa ladybug is an awesome invention! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now (I’m 6wks postpartum with my 2nd), and I love it! Usually I let down so much milk while starting nursing on one side, I soak through my nursing pad and shirt, but with using the haakaa to catch that let-down milk, I gather up to 5 oz total in a day! I’ve been able to build up my milk storage without pumping or affecting my supply! It’s painless and easy! Before I start nursing on one side, I just squeeze the ladybug a bit for suction, place it, and put my bra back over it to hold it in place. Then when it comes time to switch nursing sides, I remove it and set it aside. I haven’t spilled it or had any issues with it leaking yet. Super quick, super easy, and super worth it!
I had no pain when using this product. I use it for collecting the let down when pumping the other side. This work way better than the long one.
Ive tried the original haakaa but the suction was too strong, leaving red marks around my breast. Also it was causing oversupply of milk leading to engorgement.Ladybug is a good alternative if you want lighter suction to catch letdowns.This product is very lightweight, comfortable, and easy to use. However, it does not stay that well.
While pregnant, I purchased this as a ânice to useâ. I quickly realized after having my baby how helpful this ladybug is! Iâve collected so much letdown with having this on the opposite side while my newborn daughter is nursing. I would be losing so much milk if I hadnât gotten this! I also would have needed 500 showers daily to wash off all the letdown that wouldnât have been caught, which isnât possible with a newborn. Because of this ladybug, Iâve built an ample supply (Iâve used Legendairyâs Cash Cow pills since 36 weeks pregnant to have a strong supply) using the letdown milk. I wouldnât have had that opportunity if I didnât collect my letdown using the ladybugs. This ânice to haveâ purchase quickly turned into a âmust haveâ
