Clean and Care. We recommend sterilize each haakaa Colostrum Collector before use with any steam sterilizing system or by boiling in water for 2-3minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents to clean this product. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges are recommended. Use all the colostrum in the container for one feed and discard any leftover.

Ingenious way to harvest colostrum before baby!
Better than the syringes by a landslide! These can hold up to 4ml of colostrum. Theyâre made of a soft rubber that is squishy enough to easily suck up drops of colostrum. A much easier and effective alternative to the 1ml syringes. Iâm so glad I was able to harvest this liquid gold for my baby!
Came in handy!
I’m really glad I got these! My baby needed to spend her first night in the NICU and these came in handy since I wasn’t able to visit her for the first 9 or so hours due to medical complications. It’s a learning curve to figure out how to hand express if this is your first time, but I promise it’s worth it. Every drop counts!
Easy to use
The collectors were easy to clean and I like the little storage case it came with. I only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I found the picture/description a bit misleading. I thought there was going to be 6 collectors but thereâs 6 pieces⦠maybe I didnât read carefully enough.
So many uses
I had a low risk pregnancy so I never thought collecting colostrum would be really beneficial right away but baby had other plans and Iâm glad I got these anyways. She was born with a tongue tie and wouldnât nurse at all, these little syringes really saved us from having to use formula. I love how the entire cap comes off which made it so much easier and when I was feeding baby with them she would just suck on the syringe. They have the mLâs on the side so we have even been using them for medicine and gripe water now. I am very very happy I got these.

Lifesaver
Best purchase I made. Lifesaver for the first hours with my newborn because I saved some colostrum in it. It’s really easy to use both for collecting before birth and for the baby to drink on. Easy to clean.
I just had my second little one via c-section and I would have had to supplement with formula if I didn’t have these! (Which is fine for some but I truly wanted to avoid it if at all possible â¡) I couldn’t hold food nor water down for over 24 hours after my c section, so I became dehydrated and I wasn’t producing enough colostrum for day 2 & day 3. But thankfully I had these to supplement with!!While collecting the colostrum I found it easier to remove the cap entirely, instead of attempting to squeeze the tube and suck up the drops of colostrum per the directions. These worked phenomenally well with some patience and practice. Although a nurse at the hospital did manage to spill an entire tube… so next time I’ll chose to go with a bigger pack, just to be on the safe side!
This is the easiest way to collect! I tried other ones and found them hard to use. These were super easy and loved that I could pop off the top for bigger drops
Very useful product! I used it not only for the colostrum but now that my baby is older, I use it to give him medicine that does not come with its own syringe.

I couldnât recommend this product more. I am a first time mum and this kit has been soo easy to use despite being a complete beginner. The application is simple, storage is great compared to the smaller syringes often used. The squeezable bottle for suction design made it so much easier to collect every little drop. ð
